- Other Info Sky arrived at Wiccaweys on Thursday pm (18/10/12). She escaped during the early hours of Friday morning (19/10/12) from Wiccaweys. She broke out of her bed area by bending the bars of her crate and then broke out of a bolted building, bolted from the outside, by bouncing on a thick wooden door and working the outside bolt across until it vibrated opened. She must have been at it most of the night. :-( She was discovered missing at 8am Friday. Local dog wardens and rescues have been informed.

- Cheeky little minx is back home!
She bought herself back to Wiccs and I spotted her sitting the other side of the horse field watching the house and dogs in the garden about 30 mins ago. She didn't run away when we called to her, so I stayed at the front of the house keeping an eye on her and keeping her focused, while a Wiccs volunteer walked round to the field with a bowl of tripe mix and a slip lead. Skye let Sharon walked straight up to her, and she stuffed her face with tripe whilst rolling on her back to have her tummy rubbed and Sharon popped the lead on. The little madam was happily wagging her tail and telling us about her adventures (Charlie said fashion) as we all walked back to the yard. She has been having a great old time of it by the amount of cow pooh and fox pooh she has liberally applied to herself! Maybe its collie camoflague! - 2012-10-22 19:41 mathers22

- Oh dear, an escaplogoist. What a shame her previous owner didn't warn the staff. I bet she'd still have got out somehow though. She sounds like a dog who needs a job to do. Hope she gets found & rehomed to someone who will do agility or Flyball with her. But first she needs to be found of course.

- Local dog wardens have been informed, as have other local rescues.
There was a sighting of Skye reported by a local walker on Saturday morning about 10.30am.
He had seen a dog matching her discription on the bridle path, just across the fields from Wiccaweys, towards Little Harrowden. He was walking his own dog, and when he called to her, she ran back in the direction of Wiccaweys and the cow field.
A Wiccs volunteer went to the bridle path with binoculars, but could not see her.
She could be hiding out in woods at the bottom of our horse field, between Wiccs and the bridle path, or along the hedgerow of the cow field. All the arable fields are harvested, so we have a good sight range across the open ground.
Wiccaweys have a dog trap, so once we get another confirmed sighting of Skye we can get that in position.
Skye has always lived in a home enviroment, and is good with people.
When we informed her previous home of what had happened, her old Mum wasn't surprised and informed us then that Skye was a master escape artist! Windows, doors, scaling fences and would often take herself off to town and turn up later on her own, or get bought back by someone.
The hope is that if she is hiding out in the woods, hedges, she will come back into Wiccs when she gets bored or hungry, unless she gets picked up.
