Owner needs to contact DW, vets, visit dog pound. poster asap. Check sites on the internet. Talk to dog walkers and post flyers through letter boxes. Contact the local paper and the local radio. Contact dog rescues. Ask the local postman. Contact local farmers and the Highways Agency and Railtrack (if necessary)
