- Alfiesmum just called as we were about to leave the house to go and track him. A kind man caught him last night, and the little chap spent the night nice and warm with 8 other dogs. Alfiesmum met the man when she was out postering and asking around this morning, and Alfie was in the back of his car.

- Sue, Can you bump Alfie for me please. A Lady out of the Coop in Audley saw him running like hell in Chester Road yesterday morning about 5:00. Posting posters through doors. Alfies Mum

- Thank you everyone. Alfie has not returned in the night, just about to start postering. Rottie and Phebe are coming over to help today. I don't think I've ever cried so much. Alfies Mum

- alfiesmum. I'll give you a call tonight as I'm not at home at the moment.
- 2012-10-26 14:59 alfiesmum
- Thanks Sue, Just got back after more searching, still no sign. With it being so early this morning (04:30) do you think that someone has pinched him? We were both searching at quarter to 5'ish but didn't see anyone about and saw no cars, we were also driving about. It's so unlike Alfie to toddle off. There are lots of badger dens about so we have an Uncle walking along the lines to see if he can find him. I'm distraught.

- alfiesmum, take a breather, have a look at the info that Lizzy has sent you and see if there are any more calls you can make to let a few more people know. Get some posters up too so that you have lots of eyes looking for him as well as yourself. Posters are often the key as you can't be everywhere at the same time and hopefully you'll get people call with sightings or info on his whereabouts. Last edited: 2012-10-26 12:34:52 by B30

- Still no sign of Alfie. We have been around all the fields on our vicinity and a saint named Adele is out with her springer doggy helping us. We have brooks, ponds around us we have searched them and could not find anything. I hope he hasn't had another seizure and something dreadful has happened. Going out of my mind with worry.
- 2012-10-26 11:07 B30
- Yes thanks rottie. If you can help tomorrow please call owner first to see what's already been covered and what the plan is. Alfie could be disorientated especially if he has any more fits so may need approaching carefully if anyone sees him. At the moment working on the basis that dogs are normally very hungry after fitting so owner is out at the moment armed with pilchards.

- Thanks Lizzy. Area is a combination of rural and residential with lots of fields. Have given the owner a bit more advice of scenting big areas like this.
PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP SEARCH THE FIELDS FOR ALFIE CAN YOU CALL THE OWNER ON THE MOBILE NUMBER ABOVE. - 2012-10-26 09:35 Unknown
- Owner needs to contact vets, council, poster asap. Hand out flyers to dog walkers and post them through letter boxes. Check sites on the internet. Visit the dog pound. Call local rescues. Contact the Highways Agency, Railtrack and local farmers (if necessary) poster in shops and local pubs and ask the postman.Last edited: 2012-10-26 09:36:44
