I've checked the WAW site and this is not Lola. x

Warrington Animal Welfare have put an image on their page of a tan/white Jack girl - light collar who's been found dumped in a plastic bag...I pray it isn't this girl. Maybe if you go to their website http://www.warringtonanimalwelfare.org.uk/ I pray it isn't her x

Thank you, DW.x

Sarah called into us on the 26th reporting Lola missing on the 25th, this was a day or two before Willow went missing. Not sure if there is a connection but thought it was worth mentioning.

Okay! I've now got the back body shot. I still need a side or front whole body photo though. I am just having a field day with my browser refreshing and changing the photos! x

Sarah, the advice carolsdogs has given you is good. Yes, some dogs are kept for breeding but it is also very possible someone has simply picked her up and kept her because they want to. The email I sent you, did you receive it? I need you to do everything it says on there okay? Tick it off one by one. Now, if you reported her missing to the dog warden on the same day or day after, or thereabouts, then dog warden will have the date she went missing. Please call her again (at the council) as she will keep a look out for her on her travels. Also, whilst councils rarely scan dogs on the roads, Basildon does thanks to the warden. She will try and help you. I would definitely try and leave posters up as near to traveller sites as you can, but don't go on them nor too close, nor alone. I would also suggest you poster the rubbish bins in the laybys where people stop along the A127. Do you have a body photo yet? Sorry to keep asking but I really do need one, if you have one. Thank you. Finally, remember she is chipped. Quite often a dog that has been kept by someone, does pop up at a later date. So, we always, always have hope. Let's get searching for this baby. x

Sarah, Can you send me the first photo you had with her sweet face please? Send direct to me at kherbie57@sky.com Also, do you have a photo of her just standing where you can see her whole body and face? If not, I think we need to go with the face one that has been removed, to use for the poster. The current top photo won't stand out much on the poster. That back view is handy to identify her with. When I get a better full body photo, if you can please try and find another, I will ask Sue to put her in Countryman's Weekly magazine. This might help, but I need more of a body photo to do this. See what you can find, okay? We can crop or enlarge a photo. You could scan it if able. Ask and we'll find a way. x

Have you put this poster up on the shop in Luncies rd ( our friends live opposite ) and i'd do the same at Stacey's corner and the Bull , has anyone visited the local traveller sites ? ( not alone ) ask around in the Winged horse too , and get some posters and see if they and local vets and PAH will put them up for you aswell , i hope she has just been taken in and not taken for any other reason bless her ( i used to live in Luncies rd myself years ago which is why i know the local areas )

yes i think it was june time, it was in the summer, i have tried everything i can andonly found this site friday! i have been still driving round the area where she went missing looking but there has been no luck, im really concerned about her, im starting to wonder if someone is keeping her to use to breed her because she is still young and hasnt had the op, she will be two years in the begining of may

Hi Sarah, i'm still a bit confused though , has she actually been missing since June as the poster states ?
sarah1986
thank you all so much, having trouble uploading full body pics, keeps highlighting the pics as invalid file type! i have notified dog warden, vets and many more companys cant remember the date exactly, really missing my angel, she didnt have a collar on at the time she went missing as i had given her a shower as she had been playing in mud, she went missing from the back garden but was last suspected to be sighted slightly after going up towards luncies, i had a whole search party out looking for her from about 14:00 when she went missing until about 23:00, but have got a little girl so couldnt continue, have put ads in all the shops close by and dont know what else to do? every time i see a little dog my heart stops because i think it may be her, missing her dearly she is very much loved and missed. please help if you can!

Texted owners for details and body photo. It's possible the white around her nose may become less as she grows, so be aware of the fact that she is a few months older now. She is chipped so I am so hoping she will appear at some point. Once we know how Lola went missing we might have a few more clues. I would definitely keep watching in slightly less urban areas as well.

Hi, is the date of her going missing right ? we have friends who live in Luncies road ( SS14 ) an older couple who used to have jrt's so i'm sure they would keep an eye open for her as they still stop and talk to people with little Jacks , i def agree about full body pics though as Jacks have so many differant markings usually on both sides of their body ( mine does lol ) a lot more info on what happened at the time would help too , was she lost , or feared stolen etc, it might help track her down if it was that long ago ? she has a look of my little one about her , but he has a smaller head i think , but i can tell our friends to keep a look out for a little girl with similar head markings to ours till we get more pics and info , i really hope putting her on doglost can help find her (;Last edited: 2012-10-28 12:43:44 by carolsdogs

While it's great to have a photo of Lola's face, please could we have one to show body markings too?

What were the circumstances in this little one finding herself lost?

Sorry to see that LOLA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (44456)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
