- Oh well done to everyone - such valiant efforts. I'm sure she'll be glad to be warm & safe now and is probably a lot calmer this morning. Great stuff ... sending "vitual medals" for all who put so much effort (and blood) in to getting Dora safe. x

- Yes Dora is now back in her 'holiday home'after an awfully big adventure. She had only actually travelled 3-4 miles but had crossed a very busy crossroads and found her way to the first farm entrance after where she was seen by owners at entrance and then at the farmhouse much further up the field track, who had been feeding her but had been unable to catch her.
By chance one of them was up the downs dog walking and saw the poster in the national trust visitor centre cafe and it went from there. It took their dog to round her up into the kitchen.Carers were taken to collect her whilst I waited with their car. Then followed them home.
She was a very frightened little girl when physically picked up in a towel and bit her holiday carer, but once back n their home she began to be less warey and settle in slowly, managing a little food but still kept on a long lead. I despatched bitten off to ozzie for tetanus and AB as hand begun to swell.
Came home, walked my own dog, watched strictly and fell asleep, woke now 11.30pm too late to ring them for update which I will now do tomorrow.
Little Dora seemed ok, covered in prickles and a bit sniffy but had kept warm and dry for some of the time but was seen by these 2 families running around a lot. - 2012-11-10 22:19 poodlemum

- We really need some help on the ground here with Dora, can anyone who has put posters up please let us know where - DORA seems to be covering quite a large area of ground so need as much cooperation with postering as possible to try to locate her again

Is it appropriate to ask helpers e mailed her details where they have postered?

- News of a Sighting
Midday Monday Dora was spotted trotting along in the middle of the road almost at Dagnall heading towards Hemel Hempstead on the A4146
we have now postered Dagnall and all possible venues up to and including Gade Park in Hemel.Did 3hrs today back tomorrow.
Post Office manager has put it on his Facebook site and will ensure all local sorting offices have a poster copy by the morning so all postmen in a 30 mile radius will see poster.
PLEASE CAN DORA BE BUMPED DUE TO SIGHTING
Now need posters around Hemel shops and car parks as relying on people who travel back and forth a lot. Also roads off the main road - 2012-11-07 10:45 CBC-dog warden

- 2012-11-05 22:34 julie shelton:
- Dora was staying with a family friend but doesn't know the area at all. She is nervous and unlikely to approach strangers. We at Appledown are aware and will do all we can to help. She went missing in Moor End, so could have gone in any number of directions.
- 2012-11-05 21:21 Unknown
- Do we have any information about where and how Dora went missing; was she in kennels, being looked after at home or being cared for by friends???
Has anyone contacted Appledown??
My laptop has been playing up so only jst seen this.
Do we know anything about Dora?
Will get out and about postering etc tomorrow.
Edlesborough leads into Eaton Bray which is a big village and friendly.
Ive a feeling Ive seen Dora before.
I'll also take posters to dog training
