- So heartbreaking, and totally unnecessary. Damn fireworks. I am so very sorry, and my thoughts are with the family at this terribly sad time. Gone to the bridge way too soon, but run free, lovely Lady xxx

- This is absolutely dreadful. I think everyone who lets a firework off should be made to know the misery he has been party to. If I did something that caused this to happen, I couldn't live with myself and yet fireworks are a legal way of causing such distress, sadness, grief and death. Silent ones are out there, they just need to use them.
Lankeela, you are an angel. From experience, I can say what you have done means more to the owners than you can know. Bless you.
My heart goes out to this sweet girl and her loved ones. I want to say a totally unnecessary waste of a beautiful life, but that's not totally true. A life well lived and loved, no matter how short, is the best life and never wasted. Just seems so wrong for this to happen. Precious Lady has truly earnt her wings. Her poor owners will be totally devastated and they have to live with this always. I so hope their hearts can know peace, in time. Lady is always with them, and one day they will be back together and nothing can ever part them again. No fireworks in heaven. Lady is safe without fear and is happy to be with her owners wherever they may go. Always. God bless sweet Lady and her family. xxx - 2012-11-06 21:42 Kaz

- Lankeela? What a kind and thoughtful thing you have done: to take Lady`s body to her owners so they can bury her, and have closure. I am sure they will be forever grateful. Night, night sweet "Lady" sleep tight, and you and I know that your family have not lost their "Girl" forever, as one day they will meet you at the bridge; you will never be parted again. I send to your family loads of ((((HUGS))) and healing vibes for their grief. A candle will burn in the "Janiejewel" household tonight for Lady. RIP+ God Bless x Run free sweet girl.Last edited: 2012-11-06 13:36:03 by Angus

- What a sad morning. I saw what I thought was a dead deer on the central reservation of the A11, then when I saw that a mastiff bitch was missing in that area I went back and sadly it was poor Lady. I managed to get her off the road into my van and when her owner arrived we took her home so he could bury her. Just two years old, what a tragic waste of a young life, so well looked after and loved. Sleep well sweet baby.
