Max is doing really great and settled in nicely. He loves getting cuddles and hates being alone. I often catch him sleeping on the couch lol ........

Just a general enquiry but i am wanting to get Max neutered and am wondering if there is an organisation that can help with the cost or provide me with information on getting a discount.

Thought i'd give you all an update ........ I received a phone call from the a kennel, who informed me they know who the owner is. The owners mother contacted them a few weeks ago asking them to please take the dog as he was being looked after by her son who has epilepsy and lived in a flat. A photo was sent to the kennel by the owner but there was no room at the time. The kennel saw my posting on www.lostdog.co.uk and realised its the same dog. His name is Zac and he is 3 years old. The association can only assume he has been let out on purpose and they have been trying to contact the owner and left numerous messages and still no reply.He is presently on a 28 day retained by finder, so if the onwers dont come forward in the next 12 days then I will adopt him! He does respond to Zac but I've been calling him Max since I rescued him which he responds to aswell , guessing they kinda have the same ring to them ! X

He is lovely and I took him for a walk today on my own as my partners always takes him ! Not actually sure if I took him for a walk or if he took me lol
Such a gentle giant and he loves the kids so all is going well :)

He must have been so frightened by those wretched fireworks to jump into the canal like that and so lucky that the finders family saw him and managed to pull him out. Great news that the finder would like to rehome him. Julie x

Telephoned for an update.
So far no one has come forward for this boy.
It appears he was running by the canal and was spooked by fireworks and jumped in.
Luckily finders family witnessed this and managed to pull him out.
He is presently on a 28 day retained by finder and the family who rescued him are looking to rehome him if the owners do not come forward.

The finder has informed the dog warden, RSPCA hampole and police. He was very hungry and a bit thin when found so he may have been on the run for a little while.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
