- By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

- Oh no! I am so very sorry. This is the outcome we always hate on DogLost, but I want you to know that she can rest peacefully now in the knowledge that you DID find her. She is safe and knows she is loved, always. Sadly, the council and the Highways Agency are two separate entities and deal with different types of roads and one does not necessarily tell the other, but you worked hard and because of that you now know, and as hard as it is, it is better to know than always wonder. Iver must be so proud of you. God takes his special ones quickly and without pain, as special ones have already earnt their wings! Until you meet again, properly, Iver will always be watching over you. God bless. x

- Unfortunately Iver was found deceased near normanby road on the 3rd of November. I initially rung the council but they had no records of her but contacted the highways agency, as a member of the public said that they directed the highways van to the site of my deceased dog. The highways agency have confirmed that it is Iver dog. Thanks once again for all your help and support x

- Hi I live in the Scunthorpe area.what area did the dog go missing from as DN15 is a large area.I have posted Iver on my Fb page also Stolen/Lost dogs Fb.+ other dog sites.would be worth giving Jerry Greens at Broughton a ring or visit as some of the wardens take found dogs there if Sangreat kennels are full.I will take a poster to my vets in the morning.I am available to help put posters up.I will be out with my 2 dogs early in the morning and will try the local parks in Ashby and Town area. Do hope Iver is found safe and well.

- Thanks Jayne.
Iver went missing from the garden and there have been no reported sightings of her since she went missing.
When she went missing she was wearing a collar and tag saying that she is Microchipped.
have advised owners to contact the microchip company.
Owners have been unable to get through to the dog warden services but have visited the council holding kennels.
Have advised them to keep trying the dog warden service in case anyone has Iver on a 28 day retained by finder.
Have advised them re postering the area.
Hoping for news of her very soon.
If found, she must be reported to the dog warden, as is required by LAW
xx
