Very pleased to hear that Molly is safe. Heartbroken for owners for their darling Maddie. Good to hear that no one seems to have been seriously injured in the accident too. Awful incident... as dog owners/rescuers/transporters/etc. something like this event is never far from our minds and one of our greatest fears :( My thoughts are with Molly & Maddie's people tonight. we were on the M4 at the time the dogs were loose and had to swerve to miss them ,we tried to help catch them but sadly they were to fast, im so glad molly has been found safe and well but very sad news about maddie..my deepest sympathys xx

I wondered if they were possibly travelling back from a show! It's my biggest fear when I have all my dogs in the jeep going to a show that something like this should happen! so sad to hear about the other dog, but hope the news is correct about Molly being safe xx

I do believe Molly dog is safe in the care of a vet in Somerset. The owner has all the details and is ringing vet now. I will update as soon as I know more.

Have spoken to the Duty Manager of Membury services to advise on how to approach if sighted....hes just going out for a look now... have told him not to chase and he will pass the advice around to his staff....Peter from Thames valley boxer rescue had already spoken to him and is on his way now....they were travelling home from a show on the reading bound but after the accident Molly crossed to the Wales bound side...hope this helps...will update any info as I get it.....
