- she was going from 1 end of Tunley to the other and then ended up in the fields by carlingcot so she was in a triangle just like dog lost advised! :) and yes emmalouise she kept going by the garage with blue doors. thank u so much 4 looking we are garatefull to everyone, this is what my dad wrote on his status this am....!!!FOUND!!!
After five nights out in the wild we have found our dog safe and well.we would like to thank every one for their help and support and I just can't believe how many people was involved.we have had people from out of the area whom we have never met walking their dogs around here so they can look for her,I even had one person from Swindon offer to come and look, even my boss gave me the day off so I could look, although I don't think it's with full pay lol but really it's Been great to know that there is so many out their who would help strangers.its not such a bad world after all, later I will publish the list of groups that gave advise and support, after all it was a phone call from one of these helpers who told us where she was spotted.again many thanks. we are so gratefull xxxxx

- yeah i expect someone will either ring or write on here 2day from dog lost. out again this morning and for the rest of 2 day. will keep u posted x
- 2012-11-15 08:27 scattycat69
- Obviously dogs lost have much more experience and any advice they can give is much better than my idea, but of they think it may work and can guide on the best way and the least way of freaking Lilly out would be useful.
- 2012-11-15 08:26 scattycat69
- It was so cold and foggy last night. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. I only live at Peasedown and Im sure I could get a few volunteers together. I would be quite happy to round up as many volunteers (dog lovers, owners, walkers in the park)if that would help. We have to get her back safe somehow. x
- 2012-11-15 02:02 absmm
- its freezing and foggy out there 2 night, i hope shes found some where warm for the night :(
- 2012-11-15 02:01 absmm
- well yes that could be a good idea? will see how tomorrow turns out as people are going up at 5 in the morning. will let u know what happens and if no luck then we can think about other ways x
- 2012-11-14 23:01 scattycat69
- Could we possibly get enough people to create a 'ring' around an area (condensed) and walk in to entrap her in the middle. Sounds far fetched but may be a possibility with enough volunteers. I could get at least 6 people. I am keeping my fingers crossed she is reunited tonight. xxx

- This is beginning to look like another Pongo story and he definitely proved how strong and clever these little poodles can be before eventually being caught. come on little lilly give up its time you were home safe in the warmLast edited: 2012-11-14 21:18:51 by lmoore - Area Volunteer, Wiltshire
- 2012-11-14 20:52 Owl
- Very important - if you do decide to use a trap, it has to be secured to something AND watched around the clock. Traps can get stolen, and so can a trapped dog.
- 2012-11-14 20:50 Owl
- Talking of cooks, is anyone doing a nice fryup of something tasty and smelly on a picnic stove or barbecue? Often does the trick with a hungry dog.
- 2012-11-14 18:16 sue
- will pop up again tomorrow unless i see the magic word 'reunited' or you have enough helpers. Too many cooks and all that. chin up she'll be home soon.
- 2012-11-14 18:00 absmm
- ohh that was u, :) thank u so much 4 helping. she has been seen in the field behind overdale several times. people are still out looking 4 her xx
- 2012-11-14 16:57 sue
- Went to tunley this morning and met the owners, so glad they have seen her, fingers crossed they can catch her, where abouts was she seen?
- 2012-11-14 16:53 Toby and Billy
- Good luck, there are a lot of people willing her to be caught tonight, sending oodles of positive thoughts. x
- 2012-11-14 16:30 nancy1960
- Oh please, please please let her be caught tonight. The wee soul will be so confused. good luck everyone. I will say a wee prayer for her. XXXX
- 2012-11-14 15:04 absmm
- yes can deffo see her as one of the people that seen her was my nan, also have just read the email about mapping and scenting etc and i must say how helpfull i have found it! very please and now have new ideas. the bit about the triangle is very clever and helps narrow things down abit. thank rachel x we will try sitting in the 2 places she has been seen quietly later on and see what happens x
- 2012-11-14 14:59 Toby and Billy
- A dog trap is a large cage which is tripped closed when the animal goes into it. You usually set it up with a blanket or something over it to disguise it, leave strong smelling food inside and retreat, if she's hungry and its quiet she may take the bait ~ always an idea check it frequently in case it traps a fox or anything else.
Worth a try ~ if she is so frightened, would save her being chased and even more scared.
fingers crossed - 2012-11-14 14:55 rachelhayball
- absmm I will call you again later and explain more.
- 2012-11-14 14:49 nancy1960
- can you actually see her?
- 2012-11-14 14:40 absmm
- and are you sure she can survive?
- 2012-11-14 14:40 absmm
- Thank but we really dont know what else to do and yea we have tried every thing even had other dog out & still nothing. just about to read email.
dont understand what a dog trapper does? - 2012-11-14 14:37 rachelhayball
- Have sent owner instructions on scenting, mapping and catching her. Currently looking into a trap.Last edited: 2012-11-14 14:38:15 by rachelhayball
- 2012-11-14 14:29 Toby and Billy
- Hi, Don't chase, if she's terrified it could make matters worse. Does she respond to the sound of her food bowl, or a particular smell of cooked food ~ she may be more likely to approach you by familiar sound or smell. Sit quietly and call her as you would under normal circumstances.
All the very very best of luck, thinking of you and willing her return.x x
- 2012-11-14 13:47 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- Best not to chase her...and they can survive out there...may have to use a trap. Bath cats and dogs home or local dog warden should be able to help you with trap.
- 2012-11-14 13:39 absmm
- hi, sorry have not been on. been out all night got back about1/2ish then out again this morning & not long got back. We know where she is & people have tried getting her but its very hard as shes been out for 4 nights now and is petrified. some of us have had to come back in due to having kids/work etc but there's another lot going out at 4 on wards when they get back from work & some in between.
we will keep you all posted & let you know what happens. all we know at the moment is shes very scared & her furs not fluffy at the moment due to being muddy & wet. the more posters and word of mouth the better. at the moment shes not coming to her name as shes petrified.
as she has been out for 4 nights i think the only option we have left is to chase her. it sounds horrible & she may be a little scared but i think its better then her being out another night otherwise we think she may not last long. thank you all for your ongoing support we are very grateful just want her home safe, warm & snug back in front of the fire :( x - 2012-11-14 09:57 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- Ahelper has called to say a friend of hers saw a bichon with 2 young lads yesterday walking on Eckweek Road, Peasedown St John. she has not seen this dog before and the dog was acting reluctantly....appearing to be dragged along.
- 2012-11-14 09:11 scattycat69
- Ive printed off more posters to put on the other shops in Peasedown, Co-op, Chemist, Arleen's Petrol Station, Tesco, Vets. Maybe the coach drivers in here can keep an eye out on their travels
- 2012-11-14 09:09 scattycat69
- I'm a bit confused. There is a garage (I think)at both ends of Tunley. Is that the Camerton end or the Bath end? Is anyone postering through Tunley and Bath direction? If not shall I poster ?
- 2012-11-14 02:24 nickinoonoo
- lilly is still missing there was a couple of sightings of a dog fitting lillys description along the other end of tunley near the garage owners and family spent hours looking for her but no joy they are going to look again for her first light fingers crossed x
- 2012-11-13 22:08 scattycat69
- I have driven round the lanes at Meadgate, Camerton etc, but without a specific area to hone in on it's a little difficult. I will poster in Peasedown Village post office and newsagents tomorrow. Hopefully she will have been found already. Beautiful sweet girl, hopes she is safe and well.

- Shared on Facebook and local buy/sell sites on Facebook covering Midsomer Norton and surrounding areas. We've got everything crossed for your safe return beautiful girl x

- Hi, i have tried contacting the owner several times today but haven't received a reply as yet.
- 2012-11-13 14:55 emmalouise
- rachelhayball, have you spoken to owner's again?
would be good to know what they've done and if there's anything in particular they want help with, I can help search but without any sightings it's hard to narrow down, as i said before it may be best to concentrate on postering? x - 2012-11-13 10:02 sue
- Sorry, no joy.
- 2012-11-13 07:35 sue
- Going back to Cameron this morning, is there a particular area the owners want searched?
- 2012-11-13 01:04 emmalouise
- searched the area today (walked from hook hill across through meadgate to priston down to carlingcott and along to camerton, basically a square), did see a couple of posters, but a lot of the area close by seems to be private land so couldn't look as much as i wanted. If they haven't already i'd suggest owners talk to the everyone living or owning land locally, ask them to look themselves and to allow them to look if possible
If anyone has a look tomorrow i think around priston woods could do with another look x - 2012-11-12 21:34 scattycat69
- Ive posted on my facebook and hopefully friends will keep any eye open for her and spread the word. I will go to the area tomorrow and see if I can spot her. Fingers crossed someone has already found her and will contact.
What a sweetie! x - 2012-11-12 12:12 emmalouise
- Hoping this girl hasn't been picked up by someone who hasn't contacted the dog warden, always the story with cute little dogs. Postering a larger area is probably a good idea, i can put some up around bath, just to let people know that she has a loving family looking for her x

- I drove from midsomer Norton through Paulton then the lanes to Camerton via Radford at 1900 last night after seeing she was lost. I went to Camerton up to the main road to Peasdown and back via the route I went, stopping at the cricket club to call her. There are lots of fields as said. Have shared on FB. Hope you get her back soon. Sam xLast edited: 2012-11-12 12:03:56 by Sam U

- Sorry to hear Lily is missing.. I've tweeted Sarah Fisher and any others I can think of who are based in the BA2 area. I would also phone Bath Vet Group in Peasedown and the main one on Wellsway to register her missing in case she is taken in. Also Bath Cats and Dogs home if not already done. I so hope she is found soon, my heart goes out to you xLast edited: 2012-11-11 20:32:10 by borderfan

- So Hope you find Lilly soon. So many dogs on here missing because of bloody fireworks and it is not even the 5th Nov. They need to be banned
- 2012-11-11 16:05 rachelhayball
- No sightings as yet. Owner has been out looking and has phoned the dog warden and local rescues. She is going to start postering now.
It is a rural area as emmalouise says, and i have given advice about possible hiding places etc. I have also advised the owner to contact the local paper and radio station.
Please help find Lilly if you can! Her owner would appreciate it if people could help look for Lilly and also poster the area. - 2012-11-11 14:47 emmalouise
- I know this area well, pretty rural apart from one busy road (which i hope she stays away from!) lots of hiding places for a small scared dog
would suggest owners check parkway lane gardens but they could well live there as there arent many houses in meadgate!
owners should also contact bristol dogs home and wardens in surrounding areas as someone may of picked her up from the B3115 on the way to bristol/wells/radstock x
also forgot to say we've just had a long walk and i don't think ozzy can handle anymore today but if she's still missing tomorrow i'll search then x Last edited: 2012-11-11 14:49:17 by emmalouise - 2012-11-11 14:28 rachelhayball
