- What a lovely update Tamsins - what a relief this lovely girl is home safely. xx
- 2012-11-16 22:23 Tamsins
- Hi All, sorry for the delay with update, it's been a busy day!
As you probably know, after days of tracking her down, we had traps set up in the fields that she was sighted in regularly throughout the day, hoping desparetly that she would be hungry enough to give it a go. however she is obviously too savvy for traps and instead delivered herself back to home, scratching at the front door to get in at 4am! She was so excited to see us she was whimpering and leaping all over us! She then arranged herself on my lap and snuggled up for a sleep! She has been exhausted all day - You can understand why though, all those days lost and running circles over villages and farmland, sleeping outside and then a massive journey home overnight had burnt her out. Clever girl knowing her way home! She is so very loved at home and getting plenty of rest and TLC now. Thank you for your support and advice, your volunteers are a fabulous network and supported me and my family so much through what is a completely shattering and worrying experience. Thank again, Tamsin & Lexie :-) - 2012-11-16 17:28 rachelhayball

- Have you asked the doggy day centre to put a poster on there website, as they have a lot of people go there and drive through Allington regularly
- 2012-11-15 15:58 Tamsins
- Hi Hannah, yes they are, if you see anything please let us know. Calling and whilsting seems to panic her and make her run so as Mandy said having to use tactics now to try and get her home. Thank you

- Are the sighting in Allington as I drive through there each day
- 2012-11-15 10:14 Mandy (Wiltshire)
- No luck with the trap last night unfortunately, but there was another sighting this morning so she’s staying close and looking interested. The local dog warden has kindly offered the use of another trap, so now Tamsin is very much thinking ‘tactics’ to keep one step ahead and draw her in.

- Thank you for all your help and support! I am getting desperate and want her home safe and sound.
We are getting as many posters out there as possible, trying to cast the net wide too. Telling farmers and dog walkers in case she is sticking to farm land/barns and that is why there are few sightings. Thank you again, all help is grately appreciated. - 2012-11-14 09:32 Team Beagle Lost & Found

- Hi there, I have updated her microchip number, it should be right now as has worked when I have rang other places (although someone advised dropping the first digit as it isn't necessary but haven't been told this by all places that have entered into database).
The Dog Day Care centre you mention is involved in the search and helping us to find Lexie, as this is where Lexie started.
Thank you for posting, I appreciate your suggestions.
PLEASE help me find Lexie in any way, she is so desperately loved and missed and must be so frightened now. - 2012-11-13 22:38 Reynard
- Apparently there is a Dog Day Care place at Allington has anyone checked them out?
