**CROSSPOSTING** via Rachel Bernes
Hi, i dont know who to report this to, i was driving south on the A1 between Lincoln and Grantham this morning and about 2 miles before the Foston turnoff there was a black and white dog in the midle of the carriageway next to the barrier (looked like a boarder collie type breed), it wasnt safe to stop but the dog was definitely dead it appeared to have been hit and moved or something. I called South Kesteven District Council after being told by the RSPCA that they "weren't interested in dogs if they were dead"...but no one would pick up at SKDC so i left them a message. Just though it might be worth posting it on here as well as some of you will know other people to notify incase the dog is missing or stolen or something. I'd hate for it to have been my dog and no one to have said anything...hopefully more than just me will have reported it after driving past though so fingers crossed the owners find out somehow :-( NG31,32,33,34 areas - 2012-12-12 18:52 AlisonH
