Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

I understand after Obi went missing his collar was found down the road so in this case a tag wouldn't have got him home . so I am very pleased that the kennels have chipped him ! Welcome home Obi and please stay safe from now on xxx

He is home with a chip, thank you pound :) Owner would like to thank everyone who helped to get him back.

I know the owner is short of money, but many charities will do low cost or free microchipping - try Dogs Trust if there's a local one. Lucky this time, but a chip will make him much safer if someone tries to take him again. Also, some DWs will return to owner without going to kennels if they have a collar and tag - so no fee involved!

Glad he will be going home today xx

Thank you Fiona and mathers22 for your kind offers, but the sum has already been raised by anonymous donations. Obi will be collected this afternoon, and I will move to blue once I have confirmation that he is home. From what his mum says, it appears to have been an unsuccessful attempt at theft from his own garden. Last edited: 2012-11-16 13:33:29 by Owl

Am in touch with owner trying to sort something out.
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Obi is in the Sheffield Stray kennels but his owner is struggling to find the money to pay to get him back out. The kennels have very kindly agreed to hold the fee at £45 until tomorrow but so far she has been unable to borrow the money from anyone and she doesn't get her money through until next week :(((

From what I know from a local fb page lost and found, Obi was picked up by the dog warden this morning and she knows he is in the pound and trying to raise funds to get him out....hope this helps Shereen xx
