Just seen what looks like a black cocker spaniel that must have been running around on the M18 just south of doncaster. Drove past and highways agency type people had it on a lead on the grass verge. I assume they will hand it to the local dog warden so might be worth following up? Sorry i dont have better information but literally just drove past and thought i would search on here to see if black cockers had gone missing nearby.

Might be worth contacting Batleys Pet Food Warehouse on Chappell Drive(near the markets) pet shop owners shop there and I am sure the warehouse would be happy to provide a pile of leaflets

No news yet Bazil. Jets owners are going to the area of the sighting tomorrow to poster and search etc. they did look briefly today but had to go to work.

A lady has called Jets owner with a SIGHTING of a dog like Jet in the Alexander Avenue area of MOORENDS. She saw this dog at around 8.30 am and tried to catch it. Can anyone local to this area please look out for this dog.We need to know if it is Jet or a similar local dog that wanders.

Thanks everyone ! That's a very good point Goldie Chris .... I hadnt noticed we don't have the description of her tail. Although I think I can see a tail in one of her photos I Have sent a text to her owners to check x x

Sorry to hear Jet has been stolen will post on my Fb page & Stolen /lost dogs on FB + other dog pages on Internet.Will notify and take poster's to Vets in Scunthorpe area just in case he gets took in.also RSPCA Scunthorpe.will get poster faxed through to Crowle vets who is nearer to you.Did anyone see him being taken,as anyone near you got a Security Camera on could they have picked up a vehicle leaving the area.I will contact some friends in Doncaster area to keep eye open for Jet.Do hope he is soon found safe.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (45289)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
