- What wonderful news!!! I was so very happy to see that Milo was back home safe and sound and, seemingly, none the worse following his accident. jozianna - the scene that you describe of him bouncing, Tigger-like, all over the place made me smile. Good to hear about the generous donor who has arranged for both Milo and his Mum to be microchipped - what a kind thing to do. Just one small ask from me, could they both have nice new shiny ID tags on their collars to compliment their microchips? And finally... welcome home dear 'little' Milo xx
- 2012-11-19 21:48 jozianna
- yes he was run over on sat night and a kind person (wh o tunred out to be one of my partners customers lol) handed him in to RSPCA - i picked him up from emergency vet in morley last night. Although despite everybody confirming it was saturday - the vets are insisting it was friday and charged me £184 for 3 nights rather than the actual 24 hrs he was there! But thats the least of my worries milo is home and a kind anonymous person has paid and arranged fo rmy dogs to be microchipped at home on weds because milo is scared of going to the vets.So thank you very much whoever you are its a big help and the sensible thing to do. We really appreciate your generosity :)

- Would just like to say that Joanne you did an amazing job postering and leafleting - you worked so hard! Am so delighted that little Milo is now home safe and sound.
Will really enjoy pulling the posters down tomorrow!!!
And huge thanks once again to our local doglost helpers in Leeds who do so much sharing/ supporting- you are complete stars!!
Thanks to the person who found him following his accident and made sure he was safe and for contacting the RSPCA. They responded and took him to the local emergency vets. Thanks to the persons sister who then recognised the link and made contact.
Thankfully Milo was uninjured.
stay safe lovely Milo

- Awwwww. I'm so incredibly chuffed your boys back home. And hopefully not too sore after his horrible ordeal.
I bet I know one little guy who's rightfully gonna get spoiled rotten tonight xx - 2012-11-19 00:38 jozianna
- HI everyone, Milo is home safe an dwell and in very very very high spirits - lets just say he is currently chasing his mum round the house and bouncing all over the furnityure. Mum was suspicious to see him at first sniffed him a bit, gave low howl and then went to lay back down not very interested. He keeps bouncing on her and me and he is ecstatically ahppy to be home. Thank you to everyone at Doglost for their support encouragement and hard work. couldnt have found him without you. :) x gonna have some happy kids in morning

- Have just spoken to someone who believes they witnessed Milo getting hit by a car yesterday. It didn't appear to be too serious an injury. They called the Rspca who came and collected him. Have spoken to owner, and Minigirl is now trying to get more info xx

- Oh no. I was so hoping he'd be home by now. I'll bump his post on all the pages i've added him to and urge everyone to re-share. People are fantastic at getting the word round when it comes to lost dogs. Tomorrow i've got a slightly shorter working day so if I have time, i'll walk over to Armley from Hyde Park and with one of my dogs and have a scout round the park, tow path and Canal Road. It'll give me a chance to chat to people and see if anyone's spotted him at all. The more people I can speak to (especially dog owners), the more chance he has of being recognised if spotted xx

- Possible sighting of milo tonight on salisbury rd or grove in a garden - person suspected dog was taken into house as door was open but was not sure. did not confirm whether dog had a cleft lip but said it looked like dog in picture on the posters (there was a language barrier problem!). too late to knock doors now but i will return in tomorrow to hunt the area.

- Estate now well postered.
Thanks Fido's friend- have just spoken to Armley vets and emailed them a poster.
PDSA informed and Leeds Petwatch.
As we are unsure whether Milo continued onto the estate or went back into the park area have advised owners to return to park again this evening in case he is hiding.
Really hope for news of him soon

- Thanks Jayne, thanks trishg.
Milo went missing on a run around the park yesterday evening about 7.30pm.
For those who are familiar with the park they had parked at the Stanningley Road side and started to run round the path and noticed he was missing by the time they had reached the skate park area.
He has never been missing before and may be nervous.
Owners have been back to search this morning and have started to poster the area.
Out of hours dog warden services have had no reports yet.
If found, he must be reported to the dog warden as is required by LAW
Really hoping for news of him very soon
