Thanks Jayne, I was just on my way out to dog training when I got the call to say that Marley and Toby were home!! Fantastic, but I couldn't update!

Marley and Toby were found a few days ago in the Newton Heath area, quite a distance for 2 dogs to get without being noticed or picked up by someone...and they stayed together!! The finder was given a flyer today and rang the family immediately.

Further info from Jay as Ashton New Road is very long

theres alittle bridge before you get edge lane she said it just ran out from one side to other straight in front of her as the brige crossed over canal but was heading ashton way as other way would have been beswick ...xxxx

URGENT - just received this info from one of our helpers Jay, Owner also on the way to the area, fingers crossed.

my friend just told me she just nearly hit a staff on ashton new road ran out from no where but heading towards canal brown brindle flash of white on face wearing collar about 10 mins ago...just going to put dogs lead on and take walk over canal is 5 mins from me worth a check..xx

Just spoke to Toby and Marley's owner. You are doing a great job guys, like I said make sure you contact both the Manchester and Tameside Dog Wardens as the Animal Wardens will not necessarily pass the info over to them. Also they are sometimes found but the finder will wait until Monday when the wardens are back on duty, not aware of the Animal Wardens. Keep up the posters as far and wide as possible, they really are the answer if someone has taken a liking to them, make them 'too hot to handle'. I will email you some advice as mentioned. Keep positive Roxyuk13, they are somewhere.

Handed out flyers of Marley and Toby in local shops and petrol stations in Gorton, Abbey Hey and Droylsden today. Just hoping something comes up soon.

Roxanne I have a photo of the two found in the M11 area and definitely not Toby and Marley. I was alerted to them by hippy chick and I couldn't believe it wasn't your two, so close and such a coincidence. Also the the Animal Wardens have input their details wrong, they are both males.

These must be the dogs that we received a tip on from someone who lives in Miles Platting. However my step dad went to Manchester dog's home and didn't see them. I might go again tomorrow just to have a look at these specific dogs to put my mind at ease.
