I've only just found the time to log on and I was SO HAPPY to see that gorgeous Harvey had been reunited with his family. Such a beautiful dog and, I have to say, I just loved the photo of Harvey & his tabby friend curled up together - SO sweet! I bet puss was pleased to have him back home now that the evenings are getting cold. But, also what a worry about his chip 'not showing up'. Personally I reckon that you should be reimbursed for his bed & breakfast fees! You may have already done this, but please could this very precious senior boy have a nice new shiny ID tag on his collar as a welcome home present? Finally... welcome home Harvey xxLast edited: 2012-11-20 00:01:45 by Millys Mum

Possibly the chips are OK and its the Scanners that maybe at fault. I know that they can go wrong as the Kennel Club proved once to me!!!!
kimmy
the chip had not moved tobys mum was still exactly where it was placed wondering as harvey is ten are these older chips not showing on new scanners
Tobys Mum
Why is it that chips get missed so easily, I have heard this before.....dog chipped and not found by pounds!! Poor Harvey, so glad he is at home now, WELL DONE Kimmy for keeping an eye on your local kennels and not giving up on him not being there xx
