- Crossposted from Busters Facebook Group:
Emma Jones I really do want to thank all those who have been involved in the search for Buster. So many people, total strangers, have become a lifeline for our family. Where would we have been without the Doglost coordinators and volunteers - they have been super. Thanks to the Newport dog warden (I think?) who spotted Buster on the travellers site - he's home where he belongs , thanks to you. Life's good again - hooray! Our prayers have been answered, someone's looking out for us. Bring on Christmas! - 2012-12-01 14:33 BC
Emma Jones Hi. We are absolutely thrilled that Buster is home with us! Although our hopes were high that he would eventually come home, we never believed it would be so soon. It's just like he's never been away. As soon as he came through the door, he went straight to his box full of this toys that has stayed in place waiting for this day. He's now sprawled on the beanbag in the lounge, fast asleep!! We can now get on with life!! It's been on hold for 11 days. We can start looking forward to Christmas - the walk with Buster that we had planned for Christmas morning. It will happen!!! I'm so happy, I don't want to go to bed.Last edited: 2012-12-01 14:36:04 by BC- 2012-12-01 00:14 BBKM

- Hi.I'm Buster's owner.I'd just like to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone who is working hard to get Buster home to us. It is so comforting that total strangers are giving up their time to help look for Buster. I've spoken to some wonderful people on the phone who have become our lieline during this time.We are absolutely devastated. Fortunately the kids haven't taken it as badly as we feared - I think they're too young to realise the seriousness of the situation (they're 5 and 3). Clive and I are trying hard to keep positive, but it's so hard. Although we've only had Buster a short while, we miss him desperately. He's left a huge hole in our family. When we got him as our first family pet, everything seemed so perfect, so right - and now this. We don't know what to think or feel, almost living in a bubble. We long to hear some positive news.
Thought last night that we would be returning home with him after a call from someone thinking they spotted him. Unfortunately it sounds like it was the adult brown and white springer. I hope it gets home soon too. Many thanks x - 2012-11-23 19:23 Mollychops
- Thanks Jenners Ive updated the Spaniels page now x
- 2012-11-23 18:25 Jenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire
- The area the springer was in is Wenchford just off the A48 at Blakeney heading towards Parkend. The woods go right back towards Soudley. Very good story in the Citizen, hopefully people will take notice and we can get leads as to who took Buster.
- 2012-11-23 18:14 Mollychops
- Thanks Suzanne, I will find out where the last sighting was and post on that dogs page x
- 2012-11-23 16:50 Suzanne
- Hi, does anyone know the name of the wood/area that the adult Springer as seen in? s my husband would like to go tomorrow to see whether it could be Biggles. Thanks Suzanne
- 2012-11-23 12:03 Mollychops
- Ive bumped due to excellent coverage in the papers today, front page in the Citizen and a paragraph in the Western Daily Press !! Ive created a page for the loose Spaniel in Soudley. Ive been told this dog has brown ears . It needs to be caught, as it looks like he or she has been dumped. Thanks for huge help here bc I will give you a buzz tonight after work

- Mollychops, ive been trying to chase the company van seen at the traffic lights, ive left messages, no one ever answers, and there is an emergency phone number, which is never answered, and today is switched off, is there any way we can find out if this company is still in existance, and perhaps if not, the sign written van has been sold off ??
