Its a good result. Lucky is very Lucky Indeed to have been picked up by the caring DW at Hereford. If he had been picked up by someone and moved out of the area to another rescue away somewhere as people do It would have been a very different story without a chip and a disc, after 7 days he could have been re homed to someone else , he would have then be theirs legally. Please Peter get your lovely boy chipped tomorrow and a shiny new disc on a proper lurcher collar please .Just want to thank my friend Solveig for telling me he was in the pound xx

I am very happy to report that Lucky has been found! He is currently in the dog pound in Hereford waiting to be picked up in the morning (unfortunately they were closed before we could sort out getting him!). He will be very happy to be home! :)

HUGE thanks to DogLost for helping to find it, and especially to Sue who gave us the fantastic news that she thought he was at the pound. Peter (his owner) had already called the pound but had been told they did not have Lucky!!!! He called back, and yes, he WAS there!!! :0)

Is the region right for Hereford? It's in the West Midlands so I would have thought Central would be more appropriate.

I do hope Lucky is found safe and well soon xxx
