- So sorry to see Chicco is missing. I'm NG3 and will certainly keep an eye out for him. Agree with Harvey - Broxtowe DW really good. Hope Chicco is soon found, safe and well.

- Have you notified all park authorities and rangers, and spoken to the people at the golf club? Just been looking at map and see you have a number of green areas near you. He may still be running loose, and if so will start to keep a low profile, as dogs tend to do this when they are out alone and not sure what to do.

- Been checking on poster locations and noted one had been taken down told it is because he has been found - not true!! Repostered with his facebook page Find Chicco and discussing reward to make him too hot too handle - advice would be welcome

- Message from a friend, who lives up that way:
"Although they're over the boundary in terms of Notts City/County they're close enough it might be worth them contacting Broxtowe dog warden in case it's picked up over in their patch as well as the City Council ones (the Broxtowe girls are REALLY good and pro-active as dog wardens go). Also Babbington Rescue (they'll be closed now but in the morning) do the "pound" contract for at least some of the local area. Think there was one dubious "rescue" the local (Broxtowe) dog warden mentioned when my own dog went AWOL that are terrible for not notifying anyone if they pick up strays that they suggested I ring."
She can't recall the name of the pound which is unreliable when it comes to contacting owners of strays but says if Chocco's folks ring the local dog wardens they will surely know. - 2012-11-21 20:38 Riverlady
