- Message from owner: After 2 weeks my beautiful girl came back. Yesterday around 4pm they found her in horse farm between chorleywood, chiltern side. 10 kilometre between oxhey, chiltren. Dog warden took her a kennel in Slough for night. And Council called us at 6pm. They said today morning 8.30 call council again and get information where we can pick Emma up. After phone them, they said that from slough they were taking Emma to Aylesbury council kennel, 11.30 Emma arrived to kennel and we picked Emma (It was Emma!!) She was very happy to see us and in the car she started a kind of funny talking like crying for a few minutes....and took to vet directly. And back home gave her a good bath for 1.5 hours!!! She lost 5 kilo but recovering very fast. She already have started to finish off all left over cat food as usuall. Not giving too much food, little but often!
I would like to thanks you all. She is the best Cristmast present for me!!! and I and my family so happy and lucky to know you all such a nice, angel, animal lover friends. Any time if you need help to make a dog and dog owner happy to find lost dog or anything for animal, Me and my family always here to help. - 2012-11-30 17:54 Unknown

- YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! These collies are amazing dogs! Can't wait for her to be home with you, Emma's family. Do keep us posted. Helpers, you have been truly amazing, just like Nik said. Nik, I know how hard you have been trying too! Viv, that must mean they only picked her up today? Thank goodness! And Viv, you are a helper that's how come you are on here so do you mean you want to register to help when other dogs go missing in your area? If so, then what you have to do is go back into your registration and tick the box, or click on it or whatever it is, and say you want to receive alerts. Then it should send a text or email to you when a dog goes missing and you can help, just like you have now. You really have been a fantastic group of helpers. Even just leaving ideas or giving support on here for owners is truly appreciated. Well done everyone! x
- 2012-11-29 21:37 Unknown

- After I called you today, i was kindly allowed back into merchant taylor and walked all round lakes right up to two cottages but you cant get through gate, right opposite here is camelot. the cottages are in the lakes but i think the front of them can only be reached from tolpits lane so couldnt knock. I follow back all way round to private estate and back round sandy lodge did not see her. I have family in dog kennel lane chorley wood so would it be worth me concentrating back on that side now instead of your end? xLast edited: 2012-11-29 18:26:40

- We spend this morning around Hampermill Wood until we got a call about the sighting in Chorleywood. Went there at 12 and spend the rest of the afternoon there putting up posters and giving out leaflets. Met the lady who saw her in fields and spend time walking the footpath to no avail.
- 2012-11-29 17:53 emma
- There were two sightings of Emma today in Chorleywood. One lady saw here in the fields at The Swillett near the STAG pub and footpath to M25 by Herongate. We went there and met a man who is quite sure that it was Emma, we showed her photo and video. Later a farmer said he saw her briefly and the lady said she saw her too sitting in the fields. We did not see her at all.
- 2012-11-29 15:23 Unknown
- I've just had a completely futile conversation with the management company of a certain estate in order to ascertain whether Emma had been spotted on the estate or cameras. Apparently they go 'absolutely berserk' if dogs are spotted on the estate and call the police....
- 2012-11-29 14:47 viv

- I have been Moor Park Golf Course behind Esso Garage in Moor Park that Emma last pointed. There is public footway in the middle of the golf course goes Northwood. Some houses of Esso side hasn't got back garden fence but no sign from Emma.I have put some posters again. Tomorrow I am going to Oxhey Wood to search for Emma again. Stef told me about scenting so I have started today. In the vacuum cleaner still I have got Emmas hair so I have done between my house and where she spotted last. Tomorrow I am doing scenting again in Oxhey Wood which my house end of Oxhey Wood Hiling Road side,South Oxhey.

- I have spoken at length with Emma's owner this morning about tracking & scenting as well as future, perhaps, trapping. We really need as many sightings as possible to map where Emma is going . Please,if anyone is in the area, can they keep a look out for this very nervous Collie & if spotted please call numbers on the posters that are everywhere or Doglost Head office for a message to get through. Thank you.
- 2012-11-27 22:35 Unknown
- Nils, thank you for posting. Our West London co-ordinator is local and she will be able to provide you with the advice that you need. But as Teddy's Mum has saaid (and she has had a great deal of experience tracking BC types) you need to plot the sightings to see if Emma is travelling in a triangle. If she is spot in a regular place then a trap may be possible.
- 2012-11-27 22:33 Unknown
- Thanks, Judy. Hope you get better soon !

- Hieverybody,I am Emmas owner and every word I have been reading and every idea I am following. All day I am outside and searching for Emma. Very little time I am spending on the computer because winter and days always too short!!
Today I have tried to send emma's video to the lady who she pointed a border collie dog was walking alone from Merchant Taylor,Moor Park side (sandy lounge lane) towards Esso petrol station friday early evening around 4-5.30 am.So she said that it was Emma.I went to Esso petrol station and asked them to check their CCTV. But they were not helpful people. It took 15-20 min. to persuade them and then they said, the side Emma was walking they dont have a CCTV camera to exactly show that enter. He went inside another 15 min.and checked between 4-5 o'clock and he said he didn't see any dog was walking outside of Esso. So we dont know which way she has gone. She could cross the road (hampermill lane)towards Oxhey Woods or still Moor Park lake side (around lakes). She is very close the oxhey playing field&hampermill Woods where she run off. Only she needs to cross the road (hampermill lane) and go to park. But why she didn't do it? I think Chris could get some idea, which part we focus to search for Emma.I need help - 2012-11-27 20:06 Teddys Mum - Area Volunteer, West London
- Oh this is so close to me but unable to drive at the moment following some surgery. Plot the sightings of Emma and it should form a triangle. She should be within that area. Good luck everyone. Owner needs to be told how to log on and post.Do so hope she is found soon.
- 2012-11-27 18:55 viv

- 2012-11-27 18:26 viv

- Viv, maybe you could help hazebella here? She is trying so hard and not getting much feedback. Owner doesn't seem to fully understand what DogLost is and is also of a different nationality so maybe there is a language issue, I know they are desperate for Emma's return. x

- 2012-11-26 19:25 Unknown
- Just to confirm that I did notify the Duty Station Manager for London Underground that Emma had been seen nearby.
- 2012-11-25 23:57 Unknown
- Nik, I dont seem to be getting any replies I put originally if south oxhey had been properly searched also that near the woods of the latest sighting, there is a big naval base, the staff there do there running and training all round this part so wondered if anyone been or could poster in barracks? I will go up my self and do it. could any one let me know if they would like to meet up with me and do a search of woods as i know all parts of it, I dont want to wander on my own normally i would be with my dog but he is a rescue that through horrendous treatment doesnt like other people or dogs so would feel safer with help x

- Hi I live in West Watford & I over look King George 5th playing fields, I have 2 dogs of my own & while out with mine I have asked every one over the fields that i have seen to keep an eye out for Emma, I really hope she is found soon but mean time i & all the other dog walkers ovre here will keep an eye out for her.....
- 2012-11-25 17:14 Unknown
- A searcher reports that a lone dog was seen crossing Oxhey Drive and going into the woods behind Muirfield Road. It could be that Emma is going in an anti-clockwise circle attempting to get home. In fact it could be a triangle.

- Emma is in the Watford Observer - advert.

- Nik and I have been communicating about this girl. I have spoken to owner and sweet Emma was scared by fireworks whilst on her regular walk. She couldn't run home, as she would normally do, because the boys with the fireworks were in her way, at the gate, so she ran the other way. I don't know the area but Camelot has also been mentioned and police called owner following a sighting and a fisherman may have seen her too. I'll leave Nik to fill in the gaps. xxx
- 2012-11-24 22:57 Unknown
- Thanks, hazebella.
- 2012-11-24 22:53 Unknown
- Much of the focus has been on the north side of Hampermill Lane. We cannot eliminate the fact that Emma may be on the South Oxhey playing fields side of the road. Posters should go up along that side of Hampermill road. She should also get in contacts with the various clubs/organisations on the South Oxhey estate.
- 2012-11-24 22:43 Unknown
- Hi the owner has just been on face book page so she prob just working her way round reading things. yes that not a prob at all. The owner said she been to the traveller site. I am going to go to the old railway line tommorrow and ask around the area.
- 2012-11-24 22:10 Unknown
- Thank you, hazebella. If you have local contacts, are you able to arrange some posters along the Ebury Way ? Dogs love old railway lines. There is also a travellers site in Tolpits Lane alongside the Ebury Road. They helped with the capture of a missing dog a few years ago. A poster there would be good too. I have advised the owner by email, but have had no response.
- 2012-11-24 00:39 Unknown
- Hi Snufflepuppy you right that is the owners group and poster etc, but dont know how my fb account showing the only thing I can think is that I have put the info and posters up on my fb and it has somehow linked it? I have been posting and passing on to loads re Emma. I have people who work and live near all these areas keeping an eye out. I have a company not far from Camelot called hill and garwood, they have asked all there lads to pass round all areas of tolpits ind estate etc. Has any one asked the security guard at the entrance to private school and houses on tolpits lane if not let me know will go down and ask them to help also maybe merchant taylors could check their land?. I Have logged Emma with Chess Veterinary clinic (my vets) in uxbridge rd, ricky as it not far from Tolpits. will do all I can :)
- 2012-11-23 21:37 Sian
- Sorry to hear Emma is still missing hope she is found soon there's alot of open space down by the Camelot Headquarter ie on Croxley Moor Ebury Way and on the other side of the road by the lakes, equally there's alot of cover she could take for shelter especially as she's timid. Going for a walk there tomorrow so will kept a look out.
