- So pleased Rocco has been found. Hope he makes a full recovery from his ordeal. Must have been scary for him, but great that it seems he has no serious injuries. Lots of our manhole covers have been removed in some of our fields. Great work from the Fire service. Welcome home Rocco xx

- Rocco so very pleased to hear that you are safe. Now be a good boy and don't fall down anymore manholes! Do think that because he fell down a manhole that it has been stolen for its metal content?

- Great Lesley. Lost dogs often hang around schools.Looks like he is making his triangular territory between Hallglen, Lauriston and Redding.Last edited: 2012-11-26 19:46:11 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

- 2 separate sightings in Shieldhill at the schools. 1 very convincing one as the lady is a dogwalker who has walked Rocco before!

- Owner has had a message to say there has been a spaniel running around the Redding area since Thursday.

- Hi All. Thanks for helping.
3 possible sightings now yesterday near Laurieston / Westquarter glen. I spoke to a woman today who said her Mum was walking their yesterday with her lab and a springer kept trying to play with her. Her lab is timid so the woman just left the area as her dog was scared. The springer was not with anyone. - 2012-11-25 09:09 bairnr
- Was out last night about 4pm and walked the pathway between top of Glenbrae down towards the shopping precinct in Hallglen, spoke to some people and told them. Met several dog walkers, - they were already aware and were looking out for him. Going to head back up today - think we will concetrate on the Callander Park Woods area.

- Bumping due to 2 possible sightings (taken from SRS page facebook- posted by Lesley) Hi there folks. Rocco still missing. Possible sightings at the underpass in hallglen last night(22nd) and this morning(23rd nov) at hallglen roundabout. We've been there tonight, but nothing. He may have moved on again. He's so close to home now. Any help will be greatly appreciated. It's such a huge area.

- Thanks bairnr. Emailed poster and fliers for owner on the day Rocco went missing. Have also given her Network Rail number as there is a railway very near by. Hoping he has not gone near there of course, but best to eliminate.

- I met up with the owner last night and she had made some leaflets, myself and a friend put these through the doors of houses backing on to the Lionthorn woods area (Bracklinn Place and Achray Drive), posters put up in Chip shop at Hallglen and Shops at precinct, shop at bottom of Glen Village, two shops in Shieldhill, lamposts in Hallglen (bottom road - by the canal bridge), lamposts and street posts and bus shelters by walks on the Lionthorn Road. Posters up in Lawrie Vets and A&G Vets, Bonnybridge.
We were out to 10 last night handed leaflets to anyone we met, whether they had dogs or not. I was out before work this morning doing the same at Bantaskin Woods area. Spoke to Cleansing/ Pest control department who have him registered on their system. also gave leaflets to several binmen, postmen and taxi drivers too.
This area is home to alot of walkways and cycle trails, it is widely used by lots of people. The immediate Lionthorn woods links onto main roads Slamannan Road / Glen Village.
I'm led to believe Rocco is used to walking in the Lionthorn / Canada Woods / Tamfourhill Woods and Callander Park area of Falkirk.

- Dont know how far this is from where he went missing, But maybe worth checking it out as doesnt give any details as to type of dog.
Grahams Road Veterinary Clinic
Some very kind clients have found and are looking after a dog that they came across wandering around the Laurieston area. If you have lost, or know anybody who has lost, a dog in the last 24hours then give us a call. We will be able to work out if it is the same dog quite quickly - hence why we are being slighlty sparse on details.
