Update...

This dog was found 7 days later having been dumped by a white van on a busy road. Dog was hit by car, car ddidn't stop, but a following car with an off duty policeman in it stopped, put the dog in his jacket and took it to the police station. Owners were contacted and dog is now reunited with it's owner, fortunately having suffered a bump on the head. She's lost 3 pounds in weight having wandered for almost a week in the fens. 3 year old daughter had witnessed man breaking fence and tempting dogs with chicken drumsticks, but only managed to steal this one. Happy ending.

Email in admin from owner to say that little Mavis has now been found.
AlisonH
Just called owner for an update and there has been no more news or sightings of little Mavis.
AlisonH
Mavis was spotted early this morning running along a dyke but she has not been seen since. Good thing is she is moving away from the A17. Lots of people are looking out for her and have been advised on how to approach her.
FLY
So sorry Mavis still missing, jsut a thought, not everyone knows the breed description and if found might look under terrier cross or something else, so need to think laterally when searching 'found' sites. Good luck hope she is home safe soon.
