Owner needs to contact DW, vets and to poster asap. Visit the dog pound and contact local rescues. Contact chip company (if necessary) Hand out flyers to dog walkers and post them through local letter boxes. Check sites on the internet. Contact the local radio and paper. Contact the Highways Agency, Railtrack and local farmers (if needed) Speak to the postman and poster local shops and pubs.
