It's very worrying the number of dogs 'found' and advertised on FB but it is successful the majority of the time I guess. The really frustrating thing is not to be able to comment on the page that not reporting the dog to the warden is against the law. I can't believe so many people still haven't a clue about it all. All their friends asking them if they're keeping it, "if not I'll have it' type comments is really worrying too!

Claire I have done a fb share post and have shared it around and others are as well. Very worrying now with all the fb pages being set up and dogs not being reported to the Wardens or checked for a MICROCHIP. :(
ClaireC
Really helpful thanks Majorjet. x

I've done a fb post to highlight the dangers of sharing FOUND dogs on social media especially with all the vast number of pages now being set up.

LENNOX is a classic example of dogs being WRONGFULLY CLAIMED.

FANTASTIC NEWS LENNOX IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WAY TO GO. Lots have been going on behind the scenes and looks like he has been MADE TOO HOT TO HANDLE. Jenny and partner have been a godsend and have worked tirelessly since posting last night and it paid off good style. Through all the sharing it was posted again that he had been found early hours this morning in the Widnes area tied to a lamppost. Jenny met up with the finder and got Lennox and we met up.

Thanks a million Jenny for the constant updates and phonecalls today. It was great to meet up with you and your partner and we had the pleasure of handing the gorgeous Lennox back to his mum and dad who are over the moon. So they should be, this had made a lot of people very happy.

Lennox looks a bit subdued and will sleep for England for a few days. He will be getting lots of much deserved TLC and spoilt rotten. Have gone through things with his mum and dad, chip will be updated a.s.a.p. and hopefully he will have a tag on with his name and address. He did not have the collar on that he went missing with.

We got a lovely REUNITED photo just what we all like to see.

WELL DONE and THANK YOU to everyone who has helped in the search and it is with the greatest of pleasure to be moving Lennox into the BLUE, sending him a massive big hug and cuddle. xxx

Thanks Jackalee for posting an update while out collecting Lennox. :) x

Spoken to friend who has been to see his finder. They said he was found in Lathom Close, Prescot and finder put his details on fb. The person who picked him up from the finder said they lived in Whiston and they knew his owner. Have given friend advice of other things to check. We need to find the person who has picked him up.

I've also been in touch with KMBC DW who is aware of him missing and has been looking out for him. x

Spoke to owners' earlier and asked them to take a look at the photo, they have confirmed it is Lennox.

Helper who posted the found details is going to friends to get more details. x

Helper has posted that a girl picked the found SBT up from friend and a photo has been posted on my fb page. It does look like Lennox trying to find out who picked him up.

Lennox is MICROCHIPPED to an old address in Kirkby and has been reported as missing to the Dog Warden. x
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Fingers crossed here as well...

In work posting via phone. Shared details on fb and someone has posted saying a friend may have Lennox and they are contacting owner.

Thanks to the helper for posting and to those who have sent me text alerts. Fingers crossed it was gorgeous Lennox and he is back home soon if not already. We will contact family for an update asap. X
