UPDATE16/12
It looks as if dog seen in kensworth gdn is NOT SKY. The friends who have now seen it 3 times say dog runs off but are sure from Sky's phot that it is ot her. They will try and get a photo of this dog and I will now ask around to see who this one may belong to; there are a few JR's here and some go about their business alone from farms but these are known dogs and not one of those.
No other JR on here in this post code area. This may mean that siting of Sky in Hollicks lane in kensworth, close to same place of gdn location, may not have been SKY however, we cannot rule out that these may have been 2 different dogs but search for SKY needs to get back to surrounding locations.
In the past she has gone off and been found at whipsnade gold club and always within 3 days...this time it is nearly a month.
PLEASE KEEP POSTERING AS MANY OLD POSTERS WET WITH ALL RAIN UP HERE. IF NEW POSTERS PLEASE ADD STILL MISSING
Unknown
No further sitings of Sky since the last. House leafleting of Dog Lost poster and field surveillance. Its very cold up here tonight hope she is finding somewhere to keep warm.
If anyone can poster around or e mail delivery orgs this wld be brilliant and please also report on here if you can/have been able to. Thanks

NEWS!!! SIGHTING!!!!
Sky hs been seen twice in Kensworth between Thurs and today (Sun) at 2pm. but we only found out abt first one at same time.First she was seen in a garden backing onto the fields that are on the left of Hollicks lane in Kensworth as you head to Church end from the village.
The bsecond, today ws by a family friend who saw her in the dip (valley part)half way to church end.
We went out at 3, 3 of us with 2 dogs and one with 1, friend of the family, and we split at the dip so both sides were covered, but sadly no sign. Lots more Dog Lost posters put out. The whole of Kensworth has been covered but if anyone wants to do more postering in case Sky moves, please do all around the Quarry Footpath and Beech road.
I have let Appledown know also and asked Angus if Sky can be Bumped here due to the siting.
Sky's family have also been out looking too...do hope she will be found x for Sky

We have reports of a recent sighting of Sky in a garden - Fluffylegs has been assisting owners - a trap is on standby and the garden is being fed - i won't put the location down at the moment as we would like her to remain in the garden and not to move on again

Thanks Claire - further alerts to HP16-27

Try the local Dog Warden for Aylesbury area 01296 585605. Even Hampden Vets Hospital (Aylesbury) 01296 432666) just in case she has been handed into them. You could also try Aston Clinton Kennels on 01296 630326 again somebody may have been passing thro' on the way to Whipsnade & picked her up.

ANGUS maybe alerts could come this direction ie HP areas Mentmore, Tring, Wingrave as we are not that far from Whipsnade as a thought.Last edited: 2012-12-02 20:41:52 by ClaireC

Sky is a full border terrier, when registering it just gave the option of cross or border/patterdale.
Thank you again for all your comments its very kind of you all.

yes see the resemblance;will suggest owner looks. Was aound tree cathedral this pm, lots of people with and without dogs...always difficult to imagine where a dog can be, postering in places where people go but also take their dogs walking is good,ie supermarkets, also postering all along the Downs footpaths, top and bottom as several paths lead up there from tree cathedral.

Although it is listed as male, there is a very similar looking Terrier cross found in Wales. May not be Sky, but could be worth Owner looking at the photo
caroline
Have been all around Kensworth quarry this morning and across to Downs, sadly no sign of her hope she is home safely very soon.
Unknown
Lots of postering; 3 wks ago Dora tiny black poodle went missing from Edlesborough and was found cos of poster in Downs caff window by people from farm 1 mile away who had been feeding her for 3 days but hadnt known to contact Dog warden etc but had kept her safe and alive luckily. Sky may not be far from home. Driving around and stopping at farms, houses that are awkward to get to but in the locality wld be good. And a lot of people pass through whipsnade to and from work as short cut from Tring rd to A5.....
