So happy for you and Daisy! I used to have a bichon, they are such sweet dogs. Is she ok? Reckon the "finder" may have been in on things, it's a lot of money if he claims that's what he paid for her. These dog thefts are getting all too common. O f course owners will pay to get their pets back, I would too, but it just encourages them Not sure what the answer is ! xxx Have a lovely Christmas with dear Daisy.xxxx

WELCOME home Daisy - fabulous result. I can't put on here what I'd do if I saw people taking my dogs I would not be responsible for my actions that's for sure. Well done everyone xx

I had amazing luck today and got my Daisy back...
I had to drive all the way to Kent and it cost me £800 but it was worth every penny.
She was taken by Gypsies outside my house last Wednesday - sold in Chertsey to a young chap on Saturday (not sure if that's true or he was part of the scam)... said he read my article in the Surrey Herald and came looking for me today to claim the reward money...

She is now home safe and sound - ate two big bowls of chicken and is now snoring on the sofa... Its been one hell of a week - but proven that when the chips are down people pull out all the stops to help - fortunately my network of contacts together with the community spirit I have experienced has been amazing - restores your faith in human nature... thanks to everyone who did their bit... I urge everyone else in this situation to keep up the focus and make the dog Hot Property I am sure this helped me...

Saw posters up near Chertsey bridge today, well done, keep going and make her too hot to handle. Worth contacting Jamie westies owner for tips - not so far away from where he went missing

Have shared with friends and family who live in the area. Hope Daisy is home soon.

Was about to suggest asking garden centr if they had cctv, hazebella.Glad there is at least some news and that police are involved. Hope posters are everywhere in the area ( are there any large pet stores as they are normally really helpful?) And reggiemollers, could be that the 2 men didn't "find" Daisy but were the ones who stole her in the first place. Good luck everyone......get local press and radio involved!
DogLostreggiemollieros
Have shared on twitter. If their daughter attends school she might just let slip about having a new dog. Could you contact all the local schools/nurserys/play groups in the area? Also any dog groomers. I can't believe the audacity of some people....keeping a found dog. I hope publicity will bring her home.
Unknown
just check as well the majority of garden centres have cctv due to lots of items inside and out side. hopefully if this one has they will have a an idea what they look like and may see little Daisy with them. hope you get some good news of the little one soon xx

If any helpers are in these areas also of the garden centre please would they get posters up. Ownr is now liasing with police. The theft took place in area controlled by the metropolitan but the person seen that could have found Daisey in under Surrey. I have emailed contacts in both forces.

Daisy was seen with two irish guys around 30 years of age in Nutty Lane Garden Centre, Shepperton around 1.30pm on Wednesday 28th November (still wearing her coat).. they told the lady in the store that they had found her and was thinking of giving her to their daughter as she was so cute.. They must live between Feltham and Chertsey somewhere - please keep your eyes peeled - someone may spot her...I'm desperate...

I'm too far away to physiaclly help, but will check on free sites, hope she will be found soon, all of this dog theft is getting out of hand!! was Daisy being walked when she was taken ? lots and lots of media coverage is needed, make her so well known , good luck. xxx

Panicked when i read this for daisys poor owners. My bichon is also daisy so struck a cord. Poor babyxxx
lesleyjane
Are the police involved in this? Hopefully posters are going up EVERYWHERE and local postmen/roadsweepers/taxi firms etc informed. She may be sold on so check gumtree etc but maybe the offer of a reward on the poster get her back as sometimes that's what it takes unfortunately. Did any witnesses get the van reg no? Were there any street cameras? Also worth contacting local radio and newspapers, make little Daisy too hot to handle. Good luck. x
