Sadly the found dog isn't a match for Spot.

I don't think the colouring is right of the found dog for it to be Spot but once the found dog is cleaned up and clipped we will be able to see his true colouring and can check again.

just to add to my comment. My son was walking my young Parson JRT when a 'chap'(possible scumbag) stopped his van and asked my son was he a female?! His excuse was that he wanted to mate his male! Now my Parson is clearly a male as he still has all his credentials but he probably couldn't see from the van! Now he could have been genuine but I was suspicious. He might of just been lining him up for stealing, after all my Parson is a real handsome guy!
I think we need to make it as difficult as we can!

So sorry to read about these beautiful stolen pups. They are gorgeous and my heart goes out to the owners.
Just as an aside ( and I know this is not the case in this instance) but I was wondering if our liking for pink and blue collars and leads for our dogs is helping the scumbags out with these thefts.It might sound a bit OTT but for example if a scumbag wants a female cocker spaniel(for arguments sake) and he spots one in a pink collar etc then he knows for sure where he can get one. It kind of makes it that little bit easier for him. And vise versa of course !It's not always easy to tell the sex of a dog if one is just driving past and perhaps we are making it a little bit easier for these scumbags!
Personally I have only ever had brown and red collars on my JRTs which is non- discript. Just a thought but I wonder what other peoples ideas would be on this!

spot could possibly have greyed out a bit by now or appear grey with grey ( blue ) flecks . he will still be small .

Owner has had a another 4x4 pick up hanging around her property. They drove off when spotted but returned later and drove past with lights off. Police have been informed.

Spot is still missing. A couple of days ago the owner spotted a 4x4 parked outside her property and the occupants seemed to be looking at her kennels. This has been reported to the police.

Sadly the sighted puppy was not Spot. It turns out there were 2 puppies on the run last night and they have been picked up by the dog warden. These puppies were very similar to Spot and so may be related in some way. It's all very odd as so far nobody has reported them as missing.

Someone on an Ely site 'Ely notice board' has not long posted that they saw a small white dog running along Wisbech rd/ longfield rd but were unable to catch it..they said they also think it had a brown spot on it's back!! Hope this helps

Has anyone tried looking round The poplars, Kirkhams lane , Elm.Not far away from where the others were found. It would be best to be accompanied by a police officer though if anyone does.

geat news 2 down one to go!! maybe owner is searching area found in case it was all 3 dumped and one has wandered off?
Maybe too many people knew about these and as too hot to handle they let them go??

I have just spoken to the owner and she lives in West Norfolk right on the Cambs border in quite a remote area. The thieves actually stole 4 puppies but dropped one who was later found cowering under a hedge. The 3 stolen puppies are all male. 2 of them are fleece coated and the third one is slightly wire coated. Owner has got a crime number from the police who are taking this seriously as it is close to where the 3 Dachshunds were stolen last week. The owner is going to send a photo in of another puppy who looks similar to the stolen ones. She is not good with computers and does not have a printer so if there is anyone close by who could help she would be most grateful. I have emailed local information sheets.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (45793)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
