thank you so much been missing him so much. i was realy worried about him cus throughts were going through my head he could of got run over or anything. my other half went up and down the roads for hours. it would be great if you could bring him to me see how potty my thunder will go.my sister inlaw rang up croydon council for me as i rang out of credit (calling police and rspca and battersea who referd me to this brilliant site :D )and they told her no dogs were found only a 7 month lab and thank you again this site is fantastic im going to make sure this never happends again im gonna get my other dogs microchiped know i know now how important it is and thanks to everyone else for helping xxxxxxx

Hiya, yes he is safe and warm and it's definitely him. The description is too specific and unusual not to be with his half tail, scars and blindness. I have had your missing report come through to my work email with all your details :) so i will give you a call Monday to arrange getting him home. Sorry you cannot collect him today, we use a private boarding kennels and they don't like owners turning up to collect so i'll have to deliver him. But rest assured he is safe and well xx

hi everyone i want to say thank you for all your help i tryed to ring the council to see if its him and i carnt find out if its him untill monday.i got simba from a homeless man about six years ago he told me simba was 5yrs at the time so that would make him 11yrs he told me he was a goldern retreiver im not good with breeds.so he might be a yellow lab but defo got gold just to verify hes not complety blind he can see a little and he has a bold patch near hes ear.hes hair wont grow i dont know why hes so playfull.were all missing him like mad.i have even my thunder who grow up with him hes 2yrs know german shepard and i have another dog whos missing him hes a doberman called spikey ive had him about a year a know i got him from a man who was sadly dying from cancer and couldnt look after him anymore i would like to say one more thing i would love him to be microchiped.

What wonderful news. Well Done Croydon Dog Warden for checking on here Shame he has to be in holding kennels till monday but at least he is safe. A Micro chip is essential and saves a lot of worry.

I'VE GOT THIS BOY! He appears to be completely blind and has old scarIng above his left ear. Please please report him to Croydon Council on 0208 726 6000 and there will be an option to hold and be put through to our emergency control room so you can fill out a missing report over the phone. I can then arrange to return him to you Monday. I can also micro-chip him for you. Tara

Simba looks very much like a Golden Labrador not a Retriever. I hope you get Simba back home with you very soon. Hopefully you will have been sent an advice sheet & scenting instructions. You need to POSTER like mad. Make sure all the Vets near by know about Simba, Neighbour Hood Watch, Poster in Supermarkets and shops ....literally put posters up everywhere & where people are. Is Simba Microchipped? Did he have a collar & tag on him when he escaped? Good Luck x
