Dog has been caught and the Dog Warden has taken him. It is possible there is another dog there so have left5 trap for a few days.

Have just been over to Headley Court to set a trap. The dog has moved there from Langley Vale. I saw the dog several times while I was there. He seems very settled. There have been people feeding him regularly and they made up a bed and shelter for him. Trap baited with smelly food but not sure if it's stable enough to mstay on the hook. Have advised they replace it with something more substantial.

Ali has tried to contact the guy several times but has had no reply, so no idea if the dog is still around....sorry

Nothing so far. Ali sent the guy a text yesterday but has not had a reply, so no news at the mo. Not sure if Ali's pc is up to scratch yet so I am acting as the messenger:-)

Ali has left the trap and is in contact with the guy in the yard. I have advised that if/when the dog is caught they must report to the dog warden. Good luck Ali/Katia

Epsom canine rescue wont know about it katia, im doing this as a doglost volunteer after i was asked to help by the dog warden, as is often the case. The rescues name is on next to my name as we also rehome dogs. Its my telephone number on this page if you want to ring me

Hi, I was contacted by the guy who is feeding the dog. I have no internet access at the moment otherwise I would have been aware what was going on. I passed on what I was doing to Katia. I have a trap ready to be picked up this evening and the guy who is feeding the dog (David) is prepared to check it hourly. It is on private land and the dog is coming into a barn to feed and for shelter. I don't know when I will have internet back so can't check this myself. I phoned Epsom Canine Rescue this morning when I was told about the dog but the volunteer I spoke to had no knowledge of it. ali

Its very kind of you Ali to step in and help...can we have some communication with you though as local helpers have been organising trap and organising who will be around to monitor the trap...who have years of experience of doing this with successful results...are not being informed...with so many missing dogs out there and so few traps its probably best ...and best for the dogs that we have a bit more communication...As you now have it in hand would you email us your contact number so we can put on site please...but do keep Paulas number if you need help. tx

Ive now cancelled all my plans as Ali seems to be dealing with it direct. I will close this page tomorrow and suggest she opens one of her own so that if owner is looking for this dog they can contact her direct as i will not know whats happening

Ive spent all morning arranging something - wish someone had given me a ring- can someone confirm whats happening now as I have a trap being delivered Wednesday, feeding set up and the DW awaiting call to collect when caught!

Ali is picking up the trap later today. She is co-ordinating with the chap on the farm who has been feeding the dog.

Alison Wilde knows someone locally who has a trap. She can pick it up this evening if this is of help. She is working so not contactable on line at the mo.

Ive been contacted by DW about this dog - running loose around farmland in Langley Vale near Epsom Surrey. The dog has been hanging round for over a week but nobody able to catch. The people who have seen it describe it as having german shepherd type markings but its a terrier type - scruffy coat, looks like its lived rough for a while. They are feeding but need help to catch. I dont have access to a small trap anymore - does anyone else in this area? It is seen regularly in the mornings in a yard

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
