- I have the most awful news :( Maxi has bean found dead on Deganwy beach, she is now with Mark on her way to the vets. It seems she had got in the sea at some point and with those currents down there and the extreme cold the poor girl stood no chance. Totally gutted and gutted for Mark and his family. Thank you to all of you for sharing and looking for her. Run free over the rainbow sweetheart, you will be dearly missed :'( xxxxxxxxxx

- Hello, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of our little Maxi's supporters out there. we are now at the end of our fourth awful day without our beautiful Grey Hound, todays searches covered all the usual places plus three miles of railway track and a golf course but no luck yet. we will keep looking and explore every option. i want to say how comforting it is to have so many people out there providing words of encouragement and helpful advise, It has restored my faith in human nature. we would also like to say a massive thank you to Rachel Roberts of Dog Lost North Wales for her unstinting support and practical help. will keep you updated if we have any developments.
Regards

- Hi Rach, no im not, do i just look for DL Wales? I found out about this dog from one of our rescue pages on facebook. Ive been in contact with the owner and have also been searching this morning. She really needs to come home now. I shall continue to help wherever i can. Owner confirmed that there were only the sightings on the day she went missing, and they were the sightings he also had of her.

- I've been out postering with Maxi's owners. Last night and most of today, local area and surrounding villages well covered, handed out posters to dog walkers and horse riders. More local helpers are looking out for her on their walks and also postering. Advised on doing a sightings map, so far the sightings are Deganwy Road, the village pub then Deganwy Quay so she was heading in Llandudno direction. Owners also had unconfirmed sighting at Bodysgallen Hall so that area and surrounding roads postered. advised to try leaving scent markings in their garden to help her find the way home. There has been a report of an RTA in the town of Llanfairfechan, but this has been checked out and confirmed to be 2 collies. I've mentioned trying to get her in local press too, I'll contact the reporter who ran the story of Jessie to see if she will do a piece on Maxi. Local council kennels checked again today. everything possible has been done so far, hoping she gets home soon x

- Am so sad to see Maxi is missing. In July 12, I helped to re home Major, a timid greyhound who went missing from his forever home in similar circumstances. Major WAS found safe. I am forever grateful to co-ordinator Mollychops & to the Doglost community. They gave us such strength.
Keep positive and follow the good advice & poster, poster, poster. Maxi will be well loved by all who know her and more so tell everyone.
The local newspaper ran a story of Missing Major, with his photo in the paper & on their website. Sightings soon came in, each one mentioned his distinctive collar & tag so it's good that Maxi has her pink collar on.
As doglost advised we began plotting the sightings to see that Major was moving in a straight line backwards & forwards. Sightings early morning by farmers, lunchtime at the same country pub and close by to a boarding kennels. Major had not long left kennels so no doubt found the barking, kennel environment a comfort.
I don't know your area but if rural contact your local Police Rural Crime Team, they have good contact with their community & can help spread the word. Anyone about early or late at night..
Am far away but am sending you all positive thoughts, I pray Maxi is soon home safely. Never give up hope. If Major can make it so can Maxi...

- Maxi was from a greyhound rescue a week ago, someone visited the house and left the door open, Maxi then got scared by a passing car and ran off. She will not respond to recall due to her history so calling or whistling won't work. Microchipped and wearing a pink collar. Owner has contacted rescue as microchip chip may still be registered there. Local council kennels informed. Owner made aware of postering the area. Several local helpers have been out searching the area including the owners.
