- i contacted the dog warden about this little lad just now. They told me that they never put a dog down and this dog will have gone to resuce out of the district as they do not re-home dogs in the same areaas they are found. She couldn't confirm this as it was no longer on her system, but hopefully this little dog is safe. She mentioned Dogs Trust, which I know never puts a healthy dog down, so good news.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
