- Dear All Thank you for still looking. I went all round Harefield again yesterday - talked to many and gave out fliers. I left Pookie's bed opposite the kissing gate pathway number U31 on the footpath/road that runs along past St Mary's church, Harefield.I put it under a bush/tree, yesterday. It is near where she was last seen. I went back at night but decided to leave the bed and white sheet there. Pookie may go to it - let me know please. Carole

I have been all round Harefield and spoken to many people, giving them flyers and hoping this will spread the information. Walked in various areas as has many others but no sightings. I hold onto hope. Pookie's owner - Carole

- Message from Carole (the owner), yesterday spent a lot of time on the phone and have recontacted a lot of the vets in the area, contacted the RSPCA at Uxbridge, got back in to contact with the dog wardens and got hold of Battersea Dogs home, no joy at the moment but Pookie's details are with them all.
Thanks again to all for your efforts. We are going to poster South Harefield in a minute and then go around St Mary's. Carole will be up from SE London shortly and will be doing the same.
Thanks again. - 2012-12-15 09:25 Aunt Stef - Area Volunteer, West London

- Another sighting of Pookie has come in.This one timed at 5pm yesterday (13/12/12) .So it would appear the men who tried to catch her were unsuccessful. Pookie must have run from them down Church Hill perhaps but is still out there on her own.
The sighting at 5pm yesterday was on the footpath next to St Mary's Church,Harvil Hill.Harefield. - 2012-12-14 15:19 Aunt Stef - Area Volunteer, West London

- hi, there is a dogs trust shelter just down the road from the spotted dog pub, its in Harvil Road - may be worth calling them as they may have taken her in and contacted Hillingdon Council? debbie

- I've spoken to the landlady of the pub who says she saw a younger man trying to catch Pookie, holding up a line of traffic. Then an older man in a van coming the other way stopped to help and the last time she saw them, Pookie was cornered and she believed they were about to catch her. The landlady assumed they were the owners. I've put posters up along this stretch of road hoping that if the men are regular drivers along there they will know who to contact to reunite Pookie with her owners. Pookie is fairly deaf, almost blind, very nervy and not that friendly with people she doesn't know. She's unlikely to approach strangersLast edited: 2012-12-14 07:21:51 by carolinew

- Thanks to everyone who has helped so far. We have spoken to Jenny at "The Spotted Dog" who spotted a dog (!) who fits Pookie's description being put into a van by 2 men not far from the pub. We are all hoping they have taken her somewhere safe and will let someone know how we can get in contact with them.
