- T/c to tel number today and spoke to this lovely owner. Asked her if she was still actively looking for her dog. She explained whilst she would welcome her dog back if it was found it has been 4 years now and she did all she could to find her. However if an unchipped, un spayed similar looking black lab was found please could you email her at happybuddhaland@yahoo.co.uk. This dog does not have a face book account

- Phone call today about a black lab, looking a little thin around Argal reservoir,Mabe, Penryn. Not wearing a collar. It could be a local dog but have contacted owner who will poster when she returnes from London on Tuesday.
This sighting could also be the black lab lost in Falmouth but that one has a red collar (which could have come off) This is only a mile from where she has been seen recently. I will bump both dogs. - 2013-06-19 20:42 Unknown

- Hi everyone, we can confirm that the dog reported in Mullion is I'm afraid not Rene. "He" was spotted with a red collar on this afternoon & when approached his owners were discovered nearby walking him off the lead. See Dog ID 52103 for full posting.
Sorry but the search for Rene continues & hope she is found safe soon. Rgds Tiana - 2013-05-22 09:28 kia
- Tiana, sorry for delay in coming back but my computers been down. Unfortunately we can't get across today but will keep checking to see if there's been a sighting after bin collections. We're away visiting family from tomorrow till next Tuesday and will gladly help with a search after that if she's not been found. Fingers crossed she will make an appearance today.

- Tiana, sadly it is too far for me to go back this week. I actually had business in Mullion today & had another good look around the area, but not a sighting.
Perhaps if Kia is nearer she could assist. Kia, for your info a dog Poss Rene) has been seen in Redannack & The Commons, which is the road out towards Poldhu on the edge of Mullion. - 2013-05-20 15:11 Tiana
- Kia/Max - as Wednesday is their weekly rubbish collection day, have notified the HQ of the "bin men" to keep an eye out for us this week. Are you free to do search on Wednesday? We have requested loan of dog trap should we locate suitable place to position it... Max maybe Delphine could help? Thanks

- Sorry there were no sightings last night. I got there and walked the area, which is a mix of country lanes & housing. I spoke to some people nearby who hadn't seen any stray dog, & some others who are aware of the missing posters in the area for Rene. It seems word is spreading, so whichever dog it is, hopefully soon it will be seen & caught.
I spent a few hours in the area, I had a good walk around & then sat in my car for a couple of hours around Reddanack & The Common (which is a road, not a common!) I put out a dish of smelly Sardines, which only attracted curious looks from neighbourhood cats~ they clearly are all well fed! Delphine who lives on Redannack will try to get a photo if it comes back & is willing to set up a feeding station or trap if one can get to her.
Sorry to disappoint you all.I am upset that nothing came of this.
There are lots of people rooting for her. - 2013-05-16 20:14 B30
- KIA thanks for your offer of help. Please call the owner on the number above to check where to look
- 2013-05-16 19:05 kia
- We might be able to help with a search as we don't live far away. Would this be of any help and if so could we have some guidance on this as to where might be the best place to look etc? Fingers crossed she'll be found soon.

- don't write it off completely yet as labradors kept outside have a totally different coat to those used to being indoors. It is thick and woolly and they grow a sort of mane.I hope these poor dogs can be caught soon x

- Hi Max, Cindy, Carol etc. Just had a phonecall in to say that a black labrador like looking dog has been sighted again this morning scavenging the bins. The lady was driving past in her car and saw the dog in Redannack (sp) North - when she turned and went back it had gone. She lives on The Commons- her bins are recently very often ripped apart and she has said that she is willing to help set up feeding station and possibly a trap if we can get one there. Something is visiting her garden regularly. She believes that he/she was wearing a red collar as she saw a flash of red.Have just spoken to René's owner and she said it is still possible that it may be René though her coat was short at the time she went missing. Max- if you are about could you give me a ring or text please and i will phone you back.Jules- have tried to get hold of you- will try again shortly x Bumping both pages just in case x

- I have spoken to the owners this morning, & yesterday she spoke to the man who spotted the other black dog in Mullion. She really thinks that this is not her dog, as the chap said it had longer fur (hers has very short hair). It has not been seen since, although they will keep an eye out for it today, as it is 'bin' day.

- Has there been any more sightings since the 8th May?
- 2013-05-13 17:17 Carol
- The distance between TR12 and TR16 is 13 miles so this could be Rene xx
- 2013-05-13 17:14 Carol
- Hi all is anyone near to mullion to feed this dog xxx
- 2013-05-13 09:03 cindy
- If it is a strong possibility that the very thin dog running around area TR12 could be Rene, and the area that Rene comes from 'TR16' is nearby is there any chance the owners of Rene could set up feeding stations for this dog. It would be a great shame if something happened to this dog and it was indeed Rene. xx

- Ok I'll will advice owner to put up more posters if possible. The sighting was on 17th December near the coppice pub, Lanner. No thing since then and haven't eliminated this dog. Yes neighbours dogs are still missing but spotted in the beacon area a couple of days ago. Although I'm on Facebook with updating posts, don't worry I also make sure here is updated so don't worry... You're not missing information.
I've had and email off owner that there is now a £100 reward for her safe return could admin please update posters and info ASAP. - 2012-12-23 23:24 Tiana
- Not enough posters realistically. What was the illogan link n when? I'm not on Facebook if shown there. Need this site updated. Are neighbours dogs still missing? Again any links? Thanks
- 2012-12-23 22:02 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- All mines are clear. No sightings since Illogan...not sure if it was here. Were there many posters Tiana? I know owner has been very proactive.
- 2012-12-23 21:02 Tiana
- Has there been any news or sightings for Rene? Drove nearby area today wasn't sure if she was still missing or not.
Thanks - 2012-12-20 20:10 Unknown
- Any news at all of the mine searches?
- 2012-12-19 19:02 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- Thanks Tiana, the expert has contacted owner is there are two open mines which are going to be checked out tomorrow I think. She told me some disturbing news that her neighbours 2 dogs have gone missing. The bitch has got two pups that she wouldn't have left. I need to find out more info on this and update as soon as I know.
Owner is postering and leafleting the area well. - 2012-12-19 18:32 Tiana

- Hi Max, not sure but wouldn't hurt if you could contact them. We also have another dog Brooke nearby at Chacewater that went missing last night. Could you do both please? Thank you. Need to get as many posters up in vicinity as possible, so others can help with sightings...we can then plot where Rene may be. I'm wondering if she's back tracking to Gwennip Pit? Her favoured walk area with owners. Thanks.

- Hi, Just had one of my clients in who lives in St Day, she told me she saw the black lab and the lurcher twice, once on Saturday and again on Sunday. I have just seen they have been eliminated but just in case, was the lurcher type a brindle colour. She thought the Lab was a bitch, said they were friendly. I'll pass on any info to her.

- New POSSIBLE SIGHTING of a black dog (not sure of breed) wondering around on its own near The Coppice Pub, Lanner TR16 6JB. Owner is going up there to put some posters up just in case.
Jenny, I'm on the case about the mines. Hopefully get them checked out asap - 2012-12-16 23:47 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- That's a shame but it's good we've eliminated the two dogs. Regarding the mines, the owner has checked mines close by to where she went missing. There's no movement or sound coming from them. Owner thinks that she's possibly been taken.
I've left a message with zz with location of where she went missing with regards to local mine shafts. - 2012-12-16 19:17 Unknown
- Thanks Moogie, just heard the Lab found in St Day woods is a male, plus a Lurcher so 2 dogs saved today , shame it isnt Rene hope she comes home tomorrow. Is it possible the mine experts could be called in tomorrow, just incase.

- Just spokem to owner. There has been a new POSSIBLE SIGHTING of Rene about 15 minutes ago on Consols Road, United Downs area of St Day. She was seen with a lurcher (which isn't the owners dog) but the pair didn't look as though they were with anyone. A friend of the owner who saw them called her name and she looked round but couldn't keep up with them as they ran off). There are posters up in this area but if anyone is local to here please could you keep a look out and call 01209 820874 with any sightings. Please bump Last edited: 2012-12-16 18:55:18 by Shereen

- If any one else local ??? can put posters up around Lanner (by the Coppice Pub & road which runs down to the left of it. Also St Day village itself & Carharrack village would be appreciated. Spent this afternoon out doing area near their home but ran out of posters, as gave to locals on horse back/dog walkers etc. Unfortunately busy tomo, so hope others can keep momentum going. Owners are lovely & very worried, so hope we can help - they really appreciate all the efforts of DogLost thus far.Last edited: 2012-12-15 18:20:17 by Tiana

- Also spoke with owner who gave me actual address that Rene went from, very close to the back of Gwennap Pitt. Have put posters up around perimeter but believe Rene may also have gone down towards Carharrack. As area v.rural with small holdings, left poster at Agricultural Animal Food store nearby & also at Mounts Inn Pub, Redruth - the spa shop along the new Redruth Highway etc - which the fields that Rene went missing in back onto. Gave owner more advice about how to canvass & raise awareness. She may contact local Redruth cab firms to ask if their drivers can keep an eye out.

- Just spoken to the owner. She lives on a farm with 7 other dogs. Four went out and only 3 came back when called. There are at least 7 open mines. The nearest ones have been checked many times and it doesn't seem as though she has fallen down any. Other mines further a field have not been checked thoroughly and have advised to do so and ask for further assistance in searching the mines further with experts etc. I've given the contact name and number to liaise with travelers. Advised to plaster the area with posters to make her too hot to handle if she has been taken. Thanks Tiana for postering and searching. Any more assistance in postering in the area is very welcome!Last edited: 2012-12-15 14:29:10 by Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
