So pleased to hear that lovely Blaze is back home with her family. I was so worried about this Rottie girl. I thought it odd that there hadn't been any sightings and now we know why as it seems that she was being held illegally by someone. Poor Blaze - she would have been missing her family, her nice cozy bed and daily routines so much. Welcome home Blaze - stay close...xx

Have spoken to owner, Blaze reunited this morning, finder said they paid £50 for her 2 weeks ago. Her nose is sore and she has some cuts as well as being underweight.Sounds like she's been shut away somewhere. Owner has not handed any money over for the return of Blaze. Very happy she is home safe and sound now. xx

I have texted further advice and information. Owner, please poster the area heavily and please inform the people I have mentioned in the text I sent you if you haven't already done so. Also let all the local vets in your area know that Blaze is missing. Can you give us further information as to how Blaze went missing as this could help with the search. Thankyou. Do you have an email address? If you do, could you put it on your dogs page, where you registered Blaze, don't worry, only the co-ordinators can see it.xx

I am sure you have informed Battersea Cat and Dog Home, you can do it over the phone or make a report online http://www.battersea.org.uk/help_advice/lost_dogs_cats/lost_dogs_cats_line/lost_report_form.html#tab_1 I do hope Blaze is found soon and I shall share on twitter.

Yes, I agree Baggy Dog, poor Blaze. This Rottie girl will be frantic to get back to her family, home comforts and daily routine. Unless already done, please report her to Lewisham's Animal Welfare Officers on 020 8314 2098 (or out-of-hours service on 020 8314 6000). I presume this girl isn't docked as she doesn't look that old and that she has a full tail. Can owners confirm please. Please poster like mad (100+ posters for starters) and make Blaze the best-known and hottest Rottie girl in town!Last edited: 2012-12-17 23:41:31 by Millys Mum

Poor Blaze needs to be back in her comfy bed. I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you.
