Jody, as Ripple is spayed this means you have better chance of getting her home. They cannot use her for breeding and this is when they may decide to go for money instead. Keep your wits about you and keep getting word out. Poster near all the sites you can find, but don't go on, nor alone. Do a simple poster with a photo and the word "reward" and your number. It may well work. Publicity is what makes her too hot to handle. Ask the local radio station too! They do sometimes help. Worth a try. Come on Ripple, let's get you home. xxx

I do really think this is the same as Pip and others that have gone missing in the area. I also think they have a scanner. Please tell all your neighbours whether rural or urban, to get their dogs chipped as it is better than not being, especially with this thieving going on. It won't always reunite, but more often than not it does. The problem with these more rural dog thefts is that chips may not matter to the thieves, but we can guess which theft group these individuals belong to. Jody, keep postering along the A127 including cafes and petrol stations and litter bibs, and, spread the fact that there is a reward by word of mouth as much as possible. Dodgy people are interested in money. The email I sent before will explain what to do if you get a call. When Ripple gets in the paper please let us know, as we will bump her page up so the readers can find her quickly on here. xLast edited: 2012-12-24 19:03:31 by Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

Is it worth the owner having a meeting with pips owners as it seems similar circumstances and between them might get a few clues, seems like some scumbags have local knowledge. I advised pips owners to contact a medium, Fiona Nichols from Bury St Edmunds as she helps police solving crimes and is very good, anything is worth a try.

Thank you everyone we are trying our best to find her xx

Yes agree Scruffpot. This appears to be another "Pip". Please everyone keep a look out, any strange goings on, number plates, people, vans? Pls report to us and police. Also, Pip was not micro chipped either. Seems they carry a scanner.
Scruffpot
Circumstances sound familiar and very close too. See Pip 37934
