- Deb4gsd, I had the same thought that perhaps they had wandered onto farmland or maybe disturbed a shoot and were "dealt with", but of course this is only supposition. It is totally heartbreaking and unacceptable for such a thing to happen. I am so very, very sorry, and my thoughts are with Sky and Buster's family at this distressing time. Run free at the bridge, dear Sky and Buster. Together forever xxx

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

- So tragic, poor babies xx could these dogs have wandered onto farm land and possibly caught and shot by a farmer and dumped? I've known it to happen before, where they dump them elsewhere so not to get the blame?? so very sorry for their owners, run free Sky and Buster xx

- Poochpal, it might be an idea to get owners to pop a little advert in the local paper this way saying they have been seen here. The area sighted is fairly rural with some villages sprinkled around. I need help to amend the poster for both of them, but then I can work at getting some put up out that way via some helpers.

- Further email from Essex, I have asked coordinators in that area to follow up.
Good evening, I was the person who contacted you previously with
regards to the sightings in Essex... I did speak with the owners to make
them aware but myself and a couple of other cars did stop to try and
catch them but their trust towards humans has obviously gone but to see
both dogs together like that matching the descriptions I'm so sure it's
them I can only assume they were taken from Cornwall. - 2013-01-08 07:48 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- A kind lady has postered beacon, Troon, tregrea, Troon motors, parts of pengegon, pool school and surrounding areas and main road. I hope this leads to some new sightings
- 2012-12-30 15:41 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- Theyre all possible sightings and can't rule anything out at the minute. Two dogs were seen in the pool area of Redruth near the college and heartlands. It was said the dogs were very skinny so may not be them. Posters are going up this week in pool and beacon areas.

- Photos changed may need to refresh the page to see, it is the only photo the owner has been able to send. bumped due to a possible sighting of both Sky & Buster running loose in Essex.
- 2012-12-25 17:43 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- I've asked owner to add photos. She doesnt have many so I've suggested finding pics to show similar dog.

- I've spoken to owner and given advice. Also requested photo. Thinking these two dogs were taken as neighbours dog Rene is also missing. I think they escaped through a hole in the perimeter
