Just found out from mam, council informed them Samson died on day he disappeared, but they have only just informed her.

Really not convinced about this description, but right area and right colour so thought is might be worth mentioning - posted on Gumtree today - sighted only:

Large yellow lab type dog seen wandering around wallsend park near the stream, wearing a choke chain, looked skinny and very dirty with scratches on his nose, was very nervous of people would not let my partner stroke him, no owner to be seen anywhere.

Samson went missing from the garden and there have been no reported sightings of him.
Owners have postered and contacted the dog wardens and holding kennels.
Advised them to contact the microchip company to check that contact details are up to date.
Samson is 13 years old- really hope for news of him
If found, he must be reported to the dog warden, as is required by LAW.
