- Do we know if this dog was definitely a labrador, or could it have been a retriever. our dog had a bright blue colour on with a paw tag, and he is quite timid so might have growled out of panic. Have there been any further sightings do you know? Ours is still missing

- Putting on incase still roaming around area. This dog was sighted in wheeler strret close to RSPCA. Food was thrown at it which was eaten- walking fine and wearing a collar. When approached started growling showing aggression ( or scared?)/this was at 7am this morning. Update by person who phoned me was they went back again around 9 ish and dog no longer there.
Dog may have found its way back home or owners found dog.
Incase just moved on and someone has lost one suggest areas around wheeler street maidstne. - 2012-12-22 09:43

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
