Louise, I live in Eccleston and have seen posters in Co-op and garage but was speaking to friend who lives on Southport Road who had no idea a dog had gone missing close to where they live. Just a thought but maybe some more posters up might just jog someones memory. Now the nights are getting light someone might notice someone with a new dog. I keep sharing on my FB page but if you need any help with postering

Thanks Lou hope the sighting was him. As said in the texts please do read through the info/advice email and the attached SCENTING INSTRUCTIONS it also explains what to do if you see him, he may well not recognise you at first or anyone who knows him. Good luck. xxx

I've spoken to owner who is out searching at the moment and not too far from the sighting, they are going to go to the area and are going to put posters up.

If anyone can help with the postering it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to the helper letting us know of the sighting. x

POSTED on my fb page by a helper, said the SIGHTING was approx 1.00pm TODAY:

I did see a tiny patterdale running about with no one near by, at the layby where dogwalkers park up, near the golf course car park at Duxbury Woods. He'd disappeared by time I was out of the car with Charley and a big umbrella.

Could email alerts please be sent out further afield? Thanks. x

louise, thanks for posting an update, I have sent you a text and will email you some info/advice. Will also update the photo if that is him in the bottom box and share across fb. Posters are the key to getting sightings, with it being the holiday period so many places that need contacting are not open. Keeping everything crossed you get that most important phone call soon. xxx

Hi - will keep an eye out over the hols. Hope he comes home soon

email from helper...
Just wanted to say that if the little dog is found in Leyland it would be the South Ribble Dog Warden but once he's in Euxton he would be the Chorley Dog Warden. If he carried on up the A6 through Coppull he would be Wigan. Good luck in finding him. I live in Euxton so if I can do anything please let me know. Andrea
