Thanks Miss Marple for the text this morning to pass onto Scoobster that owners were on their way to Bleakholt. Was a nail biting time for us all waiting for the outcome.

Thanks a million to Bleakholt for looking after her, putting her up for rehoming and on your website which helped tremendously in her being seen and most importantly matched by Scoobster. Jess is one lucky girl.

Have amazing news the dog was Jess and she is on her way home now! It feels so good to have her back.

Has been there since Christmas, when we were all worrying about her she has been having a mini holiday!!

Thank-you all for your help, we definately could not of found her without you all and we shall be donating the reward to Dog Lost to help you continue with the wonderdful work you do.

Just to let you know, a family member has gone to Bleakholt and are waiting to see Jess as she has been taken out for a walk. The picture looks just like her so fingers cross.

Any further news on whether the dog at Bleakholt could be Jess? I have looked at both photos and also agree that there is a very close resemblance between the two. I too am hoping this is a match.

Don't loose faith because its been two weeks since Jess went missing. My dog Penny was lost on 24th November with two foxhounds and no sightings at all for over 4 weeks. Since then she has been seen several times close together then a gap of 5 days or more before another sighting. I think she may have gone a bit feral but she is coping. Keep the faith Jess is probably still out there.

I have posted Jess's poster to Oscar pet foods facebook page as they do seem to be just on the edge of a set of woods nr to Hoghton lane, looks like a small industrial estate and you never know as she will now be hungry,there looks to be one or two farms around this area also which MAY make her feel safe.....COME ON JESS LET YOURSELF BE FOUND x

if this is Jess it looks like she is sticking to fields and countryside, have been looking on google maps a chance she could have followed the river from the last sighting of her to here it is 2 miles by rd and would be less than that over the fields and farmland, what about contacting Hoghton Towers ,email them a poster as it looks very close x

We have had a telephone call today from someone who beleives they have seen Jess in some woods in Hoghton, near Houghton Lane.

It is 2 weeks since she went missing and this is the little bit of hope we were looking for. But she is heading in the wrong direction from home if it is her!

I have just phoned up about this dog, was picked up by Police on St Annes rd,Blackpool and has been taken to Sundown Kennels,Poulton...the lady i spoke to could not tell me the sex of this dog just where it was picked up and where is has been taken

Thanks Kyzar but Jess was not wearing a red collar.

We have just heard that a border collie was seen near the Spread Eagle at Mellor on Thursday which is approx 2 miles from where she was taken when picked up.

Think she is probably heading towards the Wilpshire area, hopefully heading for home in Whalley / Billington.

would like to report that a Border Collie dog was wandering about lost today near Barley on the road to Downham. Wearing a red collar.

Salmsebury is approx 15 miles by road but will be less over the fields to Downham which is approx 5-6 miles from Billington

I live north of the Ribble, but will keep a lookout for Jess. If she were to cross the river it would probably have to be at Ribchester, which would bring her near to where I regularly walk my collie. I'll be keeping a close lookout and my fingers crossed for her safe return.

She was found not far from home which the person who found her wouldn't of known that, they were driving through. They took her to where they live, she then jumped over the stable door and now missing in that area.

I have spoke to Jess's owner. They contacted all the right in the area she went missing from and the area she was taken too when found. They are also contacted all farmers in the areas, put posters up, searched both areas but not sign of her.
Her owners are doing everything they can to find her, please help by looking out for her and sharing her Doglost page. Thank you

Rotherham dog rescue are holding a female border collie that was found in Ravenfield yesterday morning. Has a collar but no tag or chip. They will hold her until Monday before passing her to the pound. They put a post on Agilitynet FB page. Are these two areas close enough for her to be a possibiity for Jess. Afraid I live down south, geography not very good!
