I have spoken to Scruffy's owner and he is farily sure that the found dog which was involved in RTA was Scruffy, it would of been near to the area Scruffy went missing from and he had gone for walks that way too, so he could of been trying to get back home.

Its with a very heavy heart that i have to move Scruffy into Rainbow Bridge.
I'm very sorry for your loss,my thoughts are with Scruffy's family at this very sad time. R.I.P. Scruffy run free at the bridge xxxxx

Thank you Hippy Chick for the update.

I have spoken to Scruffy's owner and he would like to leave the page has it is for now, which i totally understand.

He will never be 100 per cent sure that the found dog was Scruffy but the dog was found on a road that Scruffy could of got to when he got scared and ran off.

Ive had a message regarding Scruffy and that he may of been killed on the day he went missing (RTA) A gentleman found a dogs body at the side of the road fitting Scruffy's description. The police were involved but never got intouch with the owner who had reported Scruffy as missing. The waste department picked up the dog but found no microchip due to the amount of fluid the dog had. It seems its no longer with them due to it being over 2 weeks. I have spoken to the owner who is aware of whats happened and he is calling me later...

I have been told that a brown and white jack Russell that was living in a garage in SK5 was taken to a dogs home 2 days ago. It had a collar on but no contact details. It was taken to Manchester & Cheshire Dogs home. 08445041212. Hope you find Scruffy x

Poor Scruffy.....hope he's found very soon.
Found dog on A/W website, though it doesnt sound like Scruffy from description thought would mention it as about 3.5 miles from SK6 area.

I have spoken to Scruffy's owner.

Sruffy and his owner where out for a walk at night in a park which is used by many dog walkers. He got spooked by two dogs running towards him, they have the flashing lights on and this is what scared him.

His owners been out searching in the area day and night since he went missing, no sign of him. He's contacted the DW, pet Medics, been to the dogs home and will go again every few days. I have advised him to contact chip company ASAP to alert them to Scruffy being missing, also advised that he contacts vets, put him in the paper if not home in a couple of days, talked about scenting the area, also taking another dog out with him who Scruffy knows well to see if that dog can pick a scent up.
His owners also been spreading the word about Scruffy missing with other dog walkers he meets while searching for him. He's going to be putting posters up in the area he went missing from and other places where they live. He is doing everything he possibly can to find Scruffy, he is totally lost without him.
I have asked for a photo which he is going to send to me ASAP so alerts can go out.

I will send what we have talked about and other information in a e-mail
I hope Sruffy is home VERY soon x
