So glad he's been found - had been circulating the news as we moved from South Wales before coming to Canada and still have a lot of husky friends in the area who I notified. Enjoy the rest of your festivities now! :-)

Pauline
Thought I'd posted a message here when we were reunited with him. Obviously it didn't upload from my mobile. Sorry!!! A very kind family up in Tregare discovered him in there garden. He was hiding under a laurel hedge in there garden discovered by their dog Sammie the Lurcher. Hugh was so relieved to click the lead on his collar. Little man was shaking all over and very, very hungry.

Thank-you to everyone for your support you are all truly amazing people.

We do not want to spend another Christmas Eve or Christmas Day like this ever again. Actually I will let you all into a little secret just before I got the phone call at around 3.15pm I went into the grave yard were I laid a wreath on my Stepfather's grave yesterday and prayed . I asked for David's help and on leaving the grave yard Ifan Davies called me with the amazing news about Ricky.

Our prayers were truly answered.

God bless. xxx

I have added to'dogs lost & found in Wales'on fb, and posted to family to contact friends in USk and surrounding areas. Lets hope he can smell the turkey somewhere. fingers crossed.xx
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Warning people there is a hungry dog on the loose and to guard their turkey....ring the local radio station to give a Turkey alert...and give the fact a turkey theif is on the lose...its seasonal...they will love it...and it gets your dogs details on air...I would ring the station for you as live in Newport but am in Italy at the moment and cannot get a good enough line to do an interview....Infact will ask river lady to send a twitter out as well along these lines...
Pauline
Jayne is there anything else I should be doing!
Pauline
He's not a big dog. More Border Collier size. Very friendly but lively, a handful to those not having experience with Siberians. Very food oriented. No luck at the kennels unfortunately. Walking back into the village. A lot of traffic around on the Raglan/Chepstow Road. Busier than I thought. Weather is clear here and dry, blue sky. Plenty of dry light Jayne.
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Maybe someone has taken Ricky in or to Raglan kennels who I know have excepted dogs before in the middle of the night...the tweets are doing well to spread the word...could be that someone has him trapped in a garden and are to afraid to approach a big nervous dog to read the tag...stopping cars and giving them your number is great also will make them alert that there could be a dog on the road...what is the weather like at the moment...if raining he may be holed up somewhere dry.
Pauline
I must have stopped over 50 cars and given out my name and number and still no sightings. There are 4 of us looking. Three in transport and myself on foot. Walking to Raglan Kennels to leave them the information. Feel so negative sorry.

Will update poster but will just put reward...£1,000 is going to attract hoax callers ...no one on here would expect a reward. Tx River lady for tweeting...its working well for a Christmas morning...
Rigrunner-Sibes
Stuff the neighbours, Pauline!!! Can you take the van to the last sighting and harness one by one every 15 to 30 mins, plus treats etc, to get some noise going? Or just get other dogs near yours to set them off. Have you got it on local radio, must be a slow news day. Also disposable BBQ and sausages at the castle :-). Keep the faith xxx
DogLostRiverlady
circulating on twitter as Siberian Husky Club ‏@SHCGB is tweeting.
Pauline
Jayne he has his collar on and is tagged and microchipped. Can you update his poster with a £1,000.00 reward and my mums Number is: 01291 690980

Bumped means changed date to todays date so its at the top of the list and instantly viewable with sighted next to name...means alot more people will look at and cross post locally...
Pauline
Jayne, what do you mean bumped? Ricky last seen by my husband and a police officer just after 10.00pm last night. A friend from Monmouth has printed us out some posters for lamp posts and shops in Raglan. Just posting. Please get some help if you can in the Abergavenny, Usk and Monmouth areas. Thank-you.

Bumped due to sightings...Local twets needed...will request.

Just heard from Pauline: Last seen running alongside the A40 (going East) from Raglan towards the A449 (Newport/Monmouth) direction by the police and Hugh. Searching in the area of Raglan Castle. Nothing yet!
Pauline
No not really. Mum lives in a built up housing area and our dogs just aren't that noisy I'm afraid. Am going to start looking again once I've sorted out the other dogs. Really don't think this is going to be a good day.
Rigrunner-Sibes
So sorry Pauline, can you get posters done there? Sounds like you'll need to plaster them far and wide. Can you also get the van dogs to start being noisy? Especially this early, whilst the sound will carry better?
Pauline
Just gone 4.00am no news.
Pauline
Last seen around 9.50-10.00pm.
Pauline
Local police notified and vets/kennels. Left messages were appropriate. Ricky does have his collar and tag on and somehow has slipped the catch on his lead. Nearly 3.00am and no further sightings of him after he was seen by Hugh and local police on the Raglan by-pass near Raglan Castle. Flagged every car I've seen down and given them my details. But no further sightings at this time. Sat here in the van with the door slightly open in the hope he might find his way back to my mums were he was walked around the block and left his scent on route. Not holding out a lot of hope as there are some very busy roads a round here....

This is a friend's dog. She just rang as frantically out searching for him and no access to a computer. I'll try and find a picture of him.
