mathers22, and Belle. I think you are absolutely right. My sympathy is with Minky`s family, but at least you are able to lay her to rest, and knew that she had a good life with you. You will see her again when the time is right. Night, nigh sweet Minky, sleep tight, and play with the other "Rainbow babies" at the bridge. How sad RIP Minky - I too hope you died doing something you enjoyed doing like chasing the rabbits. I really feel for his owners xx

This is so sad for her family. I hope they find comfort in the thought that Minky died running through the woods, having fun, and that it would have been quick.

Owner has emailed admin to say that very sadly Minky has been found in woodland not very far away and it appears that she may have had a heart attack. Such sad news XX

That's good to know Helen, thanks for the update. There's an old disused railway cutting that runs from Lavenham to Long Melford and runs through the area of the sighting, she could perhaps be using this as it also goes through some lovely woodland which has streams, shelter and bunnies!

A helper from our DL Norfolk and Suffolk facebook group has offered to put up some more posters around Long Melford incase she is heading that way.

We (me and Minky's mum and dad) did more posters and flyers today...spoke to lots of walkers and generally spread the appeal particularly in the area of the poss sighting. Come on Minky my lovely, show yourself.....Kx

There was a sighting of Minky just before Christmas in Bridge Street (between Lavenham and Long Melford)Owner will be going out tomorrow morning to poster and look round…
Fingers crossed this was her and she will be seen again xx

I used to live in Brent Eleigh, know the area well but can't search today as I'm working later - and the broken ankle is by no means healed yet. I assume the owner has put a notice in the Cock? - very dog friendly there. The hunt usually meets in the village on boxing day - maybe Minsky will join in...! I'll keep watch on the page, and if Minsky's still missing tomorrow will go over there and see what I can do - though I can't walk far yet.
