Thank goodness lovely Bella was found. Perhaps it was lucky that she fell down the manhole, as she could have so easily wandered onto the line, and it could have been a more tragic outcome. Network Rail certainly need to be informed of this manhole. Anyway, welcome home gorgeous girl, and stay safe now xxx

OMG!!! It sounds like Bella is a very lucky girl to be found and with no injuries. I hope that you will notify Network Rail of this manhole, sounds very dangerous.

Owner needs to contact DW, local vets and to poster asap. Hand out flyers to dog walkers and contact local farmers and gamekeepers. Owner needs to check sites on the internet and also contact local radio. They should also contact Railtrack and the Highways Agency (if necessary)
