Been posting on Facebook. Waiting for people to get back to me. Posted on Items for sale in Nottingham and Newark. Someone called Simon Ince found a lurcher on Albert Street yesterday afternoon. Not heard back from him. Also been told on the page Free things to offer & want in Newark someone called Alex Edlin found a dog but I've had to request to join the group so don't know anymore at the moment. Will keep posting x

Hi - just wanted to update everyone. My partner Alan has postered on the Collingham village sign (lamp post) (near the dog bin) on Swinderby Road, the veterinary practice on Station Road (near the postbox), two bus stops in Collingham (at the south end of the village, and in the centre), and has also postered at Stapleford (on the village notice board), Norton Disney village notice board, Swinderby notice board, and South Scarle bus stop. I have also tweeted this page to all my followers. Will tweet from our other accounts as well. Alan has also spoken with the owner and let him know we are helping with his search. Hope all this brings good news. Will keep checking back on this page, so please keep updating it xxxxx

So very sorry to hear that Max is missing. My partner Alan has made contact with the owner's friend, and we have printed posters off. Alan is going out to poster around Collingham and on the way down to Newark. We also have posters in our front room window to catch the attention of passers-by. Please keep updating this page, so we can see how else we can help. Very much hope Max and Moss are reunited with their owner very very soon xxxx

It is thought these dogs may have been taken to Yorkshire.

I'm from Swinderby next Village to Collingham so I'll keep my eye open for both in this area, just a thought though, most of these lurcher type dogs seem to end up at the Traveller camps around here mainly Tolney Lane Site in Newark, might be worth a look, but you would need back up if you think this may be the case as they are I'm told a 'very tight knit community' I think there is also a camp near Beckingham. I really hope you get them both back, we have had this happen to us too it is heartbreaking and you never stop looking. Try alo Halfway Dog rescue Val at Collingham she hears about most dogs missing in this area, also if they have strayed over this side of the Notts Lincs border North Kesteven Council is the area for Swinderby, they could have them in which case they use various kennels. Keep us posted if you get them back.
