- Shereen have you heard anything from the kennels yet please?
- 2013-01-01 23:06 RoxieHibbs
- Hi Shereen thank you for your lovely comments I only wish I could have done more for her, that would be fantastic if you have a way of getting updates from the kennels I have a ref number for her if needed? thank you for all your help.
Liana the kennel she is placed has a no kill policy we made sure of this before handing her over the warden even said she should get a home as she has a lovely personality I know its so sad you see so many staffys in rescue centres now and sadly due to the wrong people owning them they get a bad reputation I only wish it was harder for people to own dogs I just dont know how he can live with himself. - 2013-01-01 22:05 liana
- Well done for trying to keep her, how can people just get rid of there dogs? Do you know if the kennels pts sadly she is the wrong breed and so many staffies don't get homes, no idea why as they are really nice dogs just over bred.

- VERY BAD NEWS Im afraid, West Berkshire dog warden now has little Sasha as we could not find anyone who could look after her until her owner came long story short the dog warden rang the gentleman when they came to collect Sasha and put him on load speaker (not sure they are meant to do this) but he told her that his brother (which was his sister previously when rang) doesnt want her anymore so to just take her, I can not tell you just how upset I am she is such a beautiful girl inside and out and has nothing but a waggy tail and kisses for everyone. It is just a shame she doesnt get on well with other dogs as I would have had her in a heart beat. She is in a non destructive dog warden kennels and will be placed for re-homing in 7 days if her owner doesnt come which we now know he most defiantly wont be. I just hope 2013 will bring her a loving permanent home.Last edited: 2013-01-01 13:52:13 by RoxieHibbs

- There are some human beings who definitely don'tdeserve to breathe our air. How can they abandon her knowing what will happen to her. SHAME ON THEM !!

- Have rang every vet in and around Newbury area they have had no reports of a missing dog and we have had her since the night of the 29th Dec unfortunately not looking great for Little Sasha :(
- 2012-12-31 09:42 RoxieHibbs
- Unfortunately no I did not take her chip number just took her to the vets and they scanned her there they contacted the owner directly but as stating they seemed very dis-interested and he said he had given Sasha away to his sister and wouldn't collect her, left our number to call when his sister was back but he hasn't done so.

Dont think this Sasha is the same as http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=41897 as she was wearing a green fabric collar with bone print on it and as far as we know she is from Newbury/ Greenham area. - 2012-12-31 07:10 RoxieHibbs
- Hi
No she is not at the vets she is staying with us for the time being unfortunately she doesn't get along with other dogs and as I have three I can not keep her, she has a great personality though and is great with kids and people. We still haven't heard from the owners and it seems the phone is now permantly switched offLast edited: 2012-12-31 07:20:28 by RoxieHibbs - 2012-12-31 06:46 kc1991
