I've just been having a rant about all these GSD's that people are abandoning and simply not giving a toss. What's the matter with so called "human beings"!! Hope this dog is caught and treated xx

could the dog have returned home and owners have'nt reported it as found? the police must have their adress or dont they want this poor dog back? maybe the rescue they had it from should be informed as they would know more about the dog.

Tried to get more info but so far no luck! Also contacted network rail and council 'cleansing' department but they apparently don't have a record of animals killed on the railway lines or ones collected when killed on the roads. I'm amazed at how difficult it is to get information about this dog whether alive or dead.

No afraid not Have phoned local vets and no reports of lost/missing. Searched Bradville, Bradwell, Stacey Bushes and industrial estates last night and again this afternoon but no sighting. Will try police and dog warden again tomorrow incase they have news.

Has this poor dog been caught yet ?

Thank you for your responses. The dog is an adult but I have not had any contact with the owner so all I can tell you is the limited information from the police. Due to data protection, I was not able to get the new owner's details so not even sure what will happen if she/he is caught. Will cross that bridge when it happens - I'm just concerned about the dog's welfare.
