He is very well in himself and appears none the worse for wear, currently on the sofa by the fire!! One very happy doggie. Thank you everyone and lets hope it helps bring the others home soon

Big thanks must go to The Countryman's Weekly magazine who advertise stolen dogs for us every week. They have done this for many years and a lot of dogs are back with their rightful owners due to their continued support. Last edited: 2013-02-20 10:59:52 by B30

Owners had a call from a guy that had bought the dog off someone. He then saw our ad in the CMW and rang the owners . we think he was genuine as he didnt ask for any payment. Fantastic result!!

this was in bristol ,,We have arrested two men and recovered a dog, tools and a van all believed to have been stolen.

The arrests came after a member of the public called us on Wednesday February 6 to report two men in a van behaving suspiciously in Thornbury and abandoning a dog.

The dog, a cocker spaniel, was found to have been stolen from Thornbury earlier the same day.

The van was later found by police abandoned just off the A38 in Rudgeway. Officers believe the van had been stolen from London and it contained tools stolen from Thornbury earlier the same day. Two men aged 26 and 32 were arrested later the same day in connection with the thefts and remain in police custody today, Thursday February 7.

Thornbury Neighbourhood Sergeant Victoria Lansdown said: "We are very grateful to the member of the public who called us after becoming suspicious of the behaviour of two men in a van. I'd always say that if you are in any doubt give us a shout."
