- Yes both dogs have even reunited ! I made enquiries with the dog warden who had these dogs as I wanted to check there was no chance that the dachshund could be Roxie or Queenie missing in the North East.
He kindly left me a message to say that both dogs belonged to the same owner and have been reunited . Roxie and Queenies owner has seen the photograph and has confirmed its not one of her dogs. - 2013-01-08 23:59 Runfold Eddie

- Thanks Majorjet. I have called the contact number listed which is for the dog warden to try find out the sex of the found Dachshund . They have said they will call me back to let me know but they have been contacted by someone claiming the dogs are theirs so these two may well be reunited soon. I will still alert Roxie and Queenies owner.
